Went to Bon AP last night to celebrate a friends 60th Birthday. The food as usual was excellent. We both had the French Onion Soup which was tasty and hot for a cold winters night. The yummy cheese covered crouton made this dish perfect. For...main my friend had a generous and very tasty serve of Boeuf Bourgogne while I had a perfectly hooked steak with frites. Absolutely delicious food. Friendly service. Will definitely be back! Be aware that the function room and toilets are up a spiral staircase - may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.

I had my birthday dinner in "The Little Paris" room with 27 people. It was absolutely perfect - the staff were so wonderful, attentive and helpful and they made everything run incredibly smoothly. We enjoyed our lunch. We had a selection of cheeses and terrine, entrees and mains. Everything was delicious! I would have liked some vegies, the mains all came with only potatoes but that’s ok, maybe I could have ordered something separate I didn’t notice at...time of ordering. Service is attentive and although a busy day we didn’t have to wait too long. Prices- that’s subjective! Not a budget option but for us a worthwhile treat and the food was good quality.More

Wonderful dining experience. Booking process was easy, staff friendly, knowledgeable, attentive to our needs without being intrusive and food, wine and cocktails were magnifique. We had two appetizers and four different mains, all were excellent.

Quick and excellent service, food was outstanding. Could not fault at all. It is a small restaurant inside, couples are seated closely together by the table is pulled out for easy access and exit. Excellent value, we had 3 course at $65 each and regretted...it because we were full after entree and mains. A really lovely place to dine and catch up.More

For our date night on 15 March we went to Bon Ap' Petit Bistro located in 193 Brunswick St, Fitzroy ✨ We took the 3 courses for $65pp and got: 🐌 Escargot with Garlic Butter Soft, creamy, herby, fresh, very buttery! 🦑 Marinated & Grilled...Squid Capsicum & tomato forward, soft squid (very nice texture!), savory & sour flavors 🦆 Duck Breast (extra $9) Perfectly cooked duck, crispy potato, thicc glaze (sweet with a slight bitter aftertaste) 🥩 7h Lamb Shoulder & Ratatouille Soft lamb, doesn’t have that ‘lamb’ taste that usually drives me away from it - this one was our fave! 🌟 Savory flavor, the way ratatouille is cooked brought out the fresh taste of the vegs & their flavors 🍮 Creme Brulee Very creamy, perfect crunch on the top, definitely the perfect way to end the meal 🍫 Dark Chocolate Mousse This was soo chocolatey! (Maybe a bit much??) The mousse was quite thicc, not as expected but it was still good, Andrew couldnt finish this and we ended up sharing the creme brulee 😅 Overall, the place was stunning, the service was great, the ambiance was nice and the food was tasty.
