Menu is exciting. Great offers on bottles of wine. Boyfriend is gutted there's no Caffreys or John Smiths though.

Just had lunch club deal. Had 3 courses each and a drink and it cost £14.60. Food was gorgeous and was very filling (which I didn't expect as it was a cheaper menu). Place is welcoming and the staff were lovely.

Went here with my partner on a Saturday afternoon - staff were friendly and fine, smaller than I expected. I got a breakfast which was very standard, the tiniest bit of bacon I have ever seen. The food is pub food reasonably priced and the price of glasses of wine are really reasonable even cheaper by the bottle. Also very rare you can get a glass of Rioja great!!!

Ordered the chicken with Tikka sauce, side salad and white rice and a side order of chips. When the food arrived I cut into the chicken which was more like a budgie in size. I was disappointed as the chicken was cold inside and had ice present. I complained and they offered to replace the meal. When the new meal... More

Had lunch here yesterday. Chose Steak pie, chips and peas from the lite bite menu. Very good value for money. The pie itself was very tasty, but came smothered in thick, glutinous gravy. Mention this to the landlord, who said he would make sure the gravy was thinned down. No charge for soda water, so top marks for this.
