We chose this cafe after the theatre for lunch. We found it to have old fashioned bistro style, with a very comfortable ambience and sunny outlook. How often do you get a perfect medium rare steak? Both veal and steak dishes came with vegetables at included price. We finished with a generous tiramisu to share and excellent coffee. We will return and enjoy the food and atmosphere.

The staff were great nothing was too much trouble, they let you swap things around on the menu. I can't eat pork so they let me swap the bacon for chicken, catered to gluten free as well. I was sitting in the sun and the waiter offered to put 2 tables together so I could sit under the awning with my friend. The staff were so friendly!!

We always like to walk over the bridge from the city when we are staying in Sydney. One by one we are trying all of the cafes at this end of the bridge. The menu here is a traditional one - which means that I like almost everything on it. I chose the corn fritters and a hot chocolate. The combination of these was very filling and I had to waddle back across the bridge. The had the misting spray going which was very good as it was a very hot day. I would certainly come here again.

My wife and I stopped in for breakfast on Thursday morning, as we haven't been here for a few years. We first sat at a table outside, but found the sunshine too glary. Plenty of inside tables available though. My wife ordered the delicious, Mushroom Bruschetta ($21.00) consisting of sautéed mushrooms on a slice of sourdough bread with goat curd and dashi butter. I ordered Bolognaise on Toast ($12.00). My wife drank a pot of English Breakfast Tea ($6.00) with milk, and I had a pot of Chai Tea ($6.80) with soy milk. The meals were outstanding, a little salty but they were otherwise well seasoned and particularly tasty. Not like the usual breakfast meals that everyone else sells, they were really flavoursome and special. Food service was quick and staff were efficient, but not so friendly, until we told of our delight with the tasty food, and then we got nice smiles in return. The total bill was $45.80 which is on the high side, okay for Kirribilli though. Breakfast here is highly recommended.

In the 10 years that I lived at Kirribilli, I went there often. I still sometimes travel from St Leonards. The staff are friendly, the prices are reasonable and the service is fast. It is excellent to eat in or to take away. The coffee is excellent and there is a good selection of cakes and biscuits. The chef also often includes unusual dishes on the menu such as lamb liver which I and an, apparently, enthusiastic fan club enjoy. They also sometimes do an excellent shepherd's pie, chicken parpadelle, veal scaloppine or parmegiana and spinach and fetta ravioli. They should offer these more often.

We dropped in for an afternoon lunch. We did recognise one of the staff members. Looks like changes have taken place. Menu seems quite different, but there were a few of the items from the last menu which we recall and loved. The lady told us the place had changed hands. Still looks like quite a few regular locals hang out here. We had a terrific lunch, and the portions were so large we asked to take a ‘doggy bag’ home. Friendly cheerful staff and well maintained. Convenient location - take a walk down to the water afterwards to view the Sydney Opera House. We will return… thanks.

Lovely spot, nice service... I had Spaghetti De Mare, and while seafood and sauce was delicious, the pasta was clearly dry packet pasta! Same for my husband's fettucini. I mean, if you're not going to make fresh pasta on premises, at least get in fresh pasta. Also, the prawns were plentiful, but only three tiny scallops (roe on) and the listed 'dry tomato' was completely missing from my dish. The garlic bread had very little garlic, no herbs, and was quite dry.

Great breakfast, wonderful staff. Took the Ferry from Circular Quay to Milsons Point Wharf, then walked about 5 minutes. Excellent place to eat before walking over Harbour Bridge. Got the Big Breakfast and it was BIG. My wife and I shared it. Love the Austrian/British bacon where they leave a giant piece of ham on the bacon strip end. Eggs poached perfectly. Toast nice and buttery. Sausage is tasty. Also go the Pistachio Biscuit. It’s so yummy. Toilets are in Arcade around corner. You need to ask for a key from the restaurant staff. Staff are very friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating.

My meal was advertised as the special (John Dory). The fish was undercooked and smelt off. When the issue was raised with staff they seemed unsurprised and did not offer to remove the item from my bill. Mine was not the only meal returned during my time at the restaurant. Avoid and go elsewhere!

Great food, great service, lovely owners. Would highly recommend. The Senior chef Owner is Italian and creates fabulous meals. Deserts are great too and so is the wine menu. Location is great as well.

This little gem just across the bridge in North Sydney is a very nice Italian restaurant. Take a walk across the Harbour bridge and then enjoy an authentic Italien meal. The options are diverse and the food is very well prepared. The venue features a combination of indoor and outdoor seating with a bustling atmosphere. The service was friendly and efficient. We had one of the best meals during our trip to Sydney at this place. A definite place to visit again next time we are in town.

The food was really exceptionally plated and tasted great! I thought the value for what we got was wonderful. The location is so handy to the best that Sydney has to offer. I can't wait to go back. Thanks to the friendly staff.

Had dinner here on last night. There are tables outside under awnings and also inside in a very pleasant area, ideal on a wet night. This restaurant is BYO and a bottle shop is just a few doors away. We shared a starter of arancini, which was delicious, the best we have had for a while, for mains, husband had cannelloni and I had calamari with side salad of rocket, both of which were good. Staff were very pleasant and attentive and prices were reasonable. Will certainly return to this friendly neighbourhood restaurant. Only negative is that toilets are a few doors further down the street, not ideal on a very wet night!

We went with friends and had a great time, we had gone before when it was more familiar and we didn't like it. We came back because one of our friends told us that he had changed management and that today everything was fresh and professional, so we came back... and it was one of the best dinners I've had in Sydney. We will return without a doubt. The wine list is worth it.
