Visited Whitmuir Farm on a Friday afternoon for some lunch. We had a croque monsieur and a ham and mustard sandwich both with soup. Everything was lovely... especially the honey roast ham and bechamel sauce. Couldn’t resist one of the cakes on display too! Will...More

We had a really disappointing lunch today at Whitmuir cafe. The food was dreadful. Our croque jacques and croque monsieur were soggy and lukewarm, topped by COLD bechamel sauce - barely edible. Our coleslaw wasn’t much better and we had to ask for spoons to...More

Called in here for a late lunch. Orders taken at the table and I had a burger with salad and I chose not to have the GF bun. The burger was excellent, tender and flavoursome. Coleslaw was made with fresh crispy veg and the salad...More

The farm shop had a fantastic range of organic produce at prices which are competitive with non organic foods. The restaurant serves fresh food which was reasonably priced and was very tasty. I'd definitely go back.

I ate here a few days ago. The menu is simple and focusses on doing a few things well (much better in my opinion than doing lots of things badly!). They also introduce a new menu every couple of months, depending on what is in...More

I had a lovely peaceful stop for coffee & cake. The young waiters were pleasant & efficient. I bought some home grown tomatoes & broccoli which were delicious. In fact the best I have ever tasted. The tomatoes didn't make it home as my husband...More

I’ve been here a few times and to be honest instead of improving the opposite is true. The staff in the restaurant can be dismissive and disinterested - I ordered a simple scone today after I had been served coffee but there appeared to be...More

I came to whitmuir with my friend a few weeks ago and despite issues in the kitchen (a few other tables complained about food while we were there) we had a lovely lunch. Upon being told that the hot vegan option was unavailable we were...More

I don't think dogs are allowed in the restaurant - but better phone to double check.
