Had dinner here on Aug 22nd. I had the half-dozen oysters to start, fantastic. Seabass infused with lemon & coriander was beautiful. My wife's starter of feta cheese, followed by scallops also took some beating. Excellent wine, excellent view, would definitely revisit.

Stopped by there this evening without a reservation. We were early but the waiter opened the doors and welcomed us in out of the rain. We found this place by seeing a sign just before the street leading to the restaurant. What a gem of a spot. The food was delicious, hot and nicely presented. The server was amazing. He... More

Love, love, love this place. We were so pleased to discover it and although we were only in Galway for 5 days we ate there three times! Crab claws were the main draw, but the view, the service and the best oysters I've ever tasted. A must for anyone visiting the area.

This is the restaurant that you must visit if you are ever in Galway! We came for lunch and were so impressed that we came back for dinner and we were not disappointed. For lunch the linguine with seafood was superb and so was their fish and chips, crab claws and oysters. Dinner menu was slightly different and we ordered... More

we were greeted at the door and the service was so lovely, being warm and welcoming without being intrusive. Our food was all cooked to order and there was no problem for one of our group with dietary needs...the waitperson just consulted with the chef and came up with something delicious. We had a view over the water and my... More

When I want a special celebratory meal and when I want to be sure of eating good, fresh food, I always head for O Grady's. I ate there on a Sunday evening, 30th of August. We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. As usual we were not disappointed. Of course it's location is picture perfect, looking out over Galway Bay towards... More

This is what you hope for, a lot of old white paint, a place that has been assembled over time, a menu that takes it up a notch, and food that does not disappoint. We were staying nearby at the Twelve, and this seemed a world away, although it was a 5 minute walk. Easy to get to, easy to... More

Had lunch mid july on a sunny day on the terrace. Had open crab sandwich, nicely dressed and presented. The most important part of any meal is the bread, the first thing you eat has to be right, and the bread at O'Grady's was so lovely we had to ask for more! Waiter was friendly as was manager on payment.... More

This place is great. Brilliant seafood, few meat courses e.g. steak, but really only go there if you like seafood! Staff are so friendly. Service is good, not too fast to rush you out of the place. There's 2 floors, but it looks small & cosy downstairs. We got mussels, sea bass, hake - we eat a lot of seafood... More
