Like many others before us we had a really lovely evening at Artemis. Following our glasses of kir and the amuses-bouche I started with crevettes and my wife with goats cheese salad. I followed with rumsteck and my wife with fantail of goose breast. To finish I had tarte tatin and my wife had charlotte au chocolat. We chose from... More

This French Bistrot is the best I've evre been to!! I tried the Foie Gras as starter, the T-Bone as platter, these two were great. The service is really quick and friendly.

We were staying in a little village (Maslives) near Chambord Chateau and the village had NO restaurants. There was one attached to a hotel but neither was open when we visited. Our Madame did a ring around and found a place open (it was Sunday night) about 9 km away. it was well worth the drive, and getting lost on... More

We sat in the outside terrace area, which on a nice evening is lovely. We chose from a set menu and each course was nice, the wine was good and the waiter was helpful and tried his very best to speak to us in English, much better than our very best French! The only thing that I'd have an issue... More

We booked for Sunday dinner here. The lady proprietor couldn't have been more welcoming. We were asked if we would like to sit in the restaurant or on the terrace. We chose the terrace and we're delighted that we had decided to eat outside as it was a lovely evening. This restaurant provides high quality food and service. The attention... More

This restaurant was recommended by our B and B . We ate off the €26 menu. It was perfectly adequate, slightly pretentious, good service, nothing very exciting but then again it wasn't expensive. We paid more for the wine than is our custom as it was by the bottle only, but it was good. We ate in the covered terrace... More

Came to have dinner following the good reviews provided by the TripAdvisor community and were not disappointed. We were warmly welcomed by the staff which we have later learned were training for their hospitality studies (explaining the fantastic service). We opted for the Menu Artemis which is not expensive (27 Euro) for a starter, plate and dessert. All three component... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience. The spacious table settings & comfortable Seating gave a feeling of luxury. Service was attentive. The English speaking waiter made a big difference as he recommended local Wine to compliment the Excellent meal. Walking distance from our hotel. Although looking at options we returned two evenings in a row.

Had one of the best meals ever and very reasonably priced. Our group of six sat out in the garden on a beautiful evening. With four of us anglophones we had a waiter with impeccable English and able to explain the menu perfectly. There was a combined menu of the most interesting choices and something for everyone. I couldn't recommend... More

The restaurant is close to the Chambord castle. we had lunch. The food is traditional and the service is very good. Waiters are highly qualified. we ordered separately and it was relatively expensive. One of the best food we ate in the Loira valley but the atmosphere was a bit disappointing. The location seemed to be too formal.

Description
Exquisite cuisine for a very affordable price. Fine food, excellent choice of wines, typical French cuisine in an immaculate dinning room with an exceptionnal service. This is better than some Michelin Star restaurants I have been. Worths the detour even for a one hour long drive. Very close from one of the most visited castle in France : Chambord.
