This restaurant has a very simple menu and laid-back atmosphere. It serves different amounts (150g, 300g, etc) of fried steak with rice and a choice of soup. The steak was perfectly cooked and everything else was delicious too. It was 4000¥ for a full evening meal for the two of us. Would definitely recommend, we'd definitely go back. Not great... More

Such great steak. Went a few times and had it cooked in different ways. Comes with all youj can eat rice soup and salad. There are also some nice sauces to dip in. The only downside is it makes all steak anywhere else seem really poor. Must come to the uk!

Right behind of Asakusa Kannon (Sensouji) in a small alley. Super lean meat, incredible soft and tender. 400g Steak comes with salad soup and rice for 2000yen. You get to choose one soup out of 3 (miso, spicy, corn). There are 4 kinds of sauce that you can use them all as using small sauce plate. You will be asked... More

Very basic dining experience but the food is well prepared and the veggies are fresh. Really strictly for meat eaters though.

It was really good. I went there with my friends. I'm sure to go their main restaurant sooner. I want to meet legendary pro wrestler "Mr. Danger"

Simple but tasty japanese styled western dishes. Watched the chef cook up our dishes and they were ready in no time. Would definitely go back again

Staying in Ueno, Asakusa

Neighbourhood Profile
Ueno, Asakusa
Traces of the history and culture of the Edo (old Tokyo) era remain vividly in Ueno and Asakusa. Spacious Ueno Park is a great place to relax and visit a variety of different museums and galleries. At Ameyoko which starts in front of Ueno station, the grocery stores and clothing shops are crammed alongside fishmongers. It gets particularly busy at the end of the year, when many people go on shopping sprees. The town of Asakusa, developed around Sensoji temple, has many shops selling goods and clothing from old Japan, making it a great place for souvenir hunting. It's also known for various annual festivals, and the whole district gets involved with the huge Sanja Festival in May.
