The soup was too good! Highly recommended:) went there for lunch and the staff are friendly. You can select if you want to take out your shoes for your meal. There will be two separate areas where you can enjoy your meals.

The place is simply amazing and the food is something we will remember for a long time. Try the hot pot (the specialty here). Waiters kind and helpful.

This restaurant, better known as Kappo Yoshiba, is in a former sumo training stable and still has a ring you can sit near and go onto. It is a large, colorful place, with plenty of atmosphere, especially if you like to watch large parties of businessmen drinking heavily and talking loudly. There are several chankonabe restaurants in the area, but this is unique because it has a sumo dohyo (ring) in the middle of the restaurant. The restaurant offers an English menu so that foreigners feel welcomed. The chankonabe offers different broth choices and is quite filling, so two orders for four people is quite adequate. The service is great and... More

Great atmosphere, since the restaurant was built in a real sumo house. The dohyo or sumo ring is centered in the middle of the restaurant. The restaurant has a good sushi bar. And the lunch specials are all reasonable. Lunch is best for the those that want to experience the sumo house on a budget. The pot stew chanko is really... More
