Prices are high, but remember you're in Tokyo and such a select experience is always going to have a serious price to go with it. The waiters were superb at dealing with our food allergies and really were at pains to make sure everything was to our liking. They even prepared a pasta Napoli dish for my daughter that wasn't... One of the best restaurants in Tokyo. Located in the 52nd floor of the elegant Park Hyatt Hotel, the restaurant and adjacent grill bar offer one of the best views over the impressive sky line of the city, together with live music, best service and delicious food.

Whilst travelling to Japan in December with a group of friends (6 of us), we decided to go to this restaurant to celebrate my partner's birthday. I organised this restaurant from home a few months before and had absolutely no issues. I was even able to organise for a special cake (strawberry cheesecake or chocolate) in advance (for an extra... If you have never had fine dinning before then this is a great place. The views and the ambiance are great and the plating of the food is decent. Our night was a bit of a let down though. We requested a window seat and we where told they where fully booked. We of course understood and took a seat... More

Visited Tokyo in March-April 2017 and decided to end our trip with a Kobe steak dinner at the Park Hyatt....it did not disappoint! 52nd floor of the hotel offers fantastic views of the city all around. Service was fabulous and food was excellent....of course a little pricey for the Kobe but it was melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Definitely would recommend this to... More

This place is one of the must visit spots when in Shinjuku. For a drink or two, for some nice dining and a spectacular view. Visited the place with my wife and kids for my birthday. Ordered Kobe beef, which tasted great. But the price tag is high.. (ca. 18000 yen). So you better love meat. My son ordered a... More

Went for a business dinner. 4 courses, all excellent presentation and taste. Wine and beer selection excellent. Can have a smoke by the bar but in the resto area you don't feel the smoke. Great views of Tokyo, resto is in the top floor of the hotel. Service is very professional and its worth the money. Just getting there is... More

Unfortunately we went here on a cloudy night so the views were non existent and we had to rely on the food to woo us. Being from NY, I have been to my share of steakhouses. The service was great, but one thing I have noticed in Tokyo is that eating a meal here is not an experience of being... More

After 2 weeks of Japanese food we were ready for a great meal New York style. If this restaurant was in NYC it would be average. BUT it's not in NYC it's almost above the clouds in Tokyo with killer views of the Tokyo skyline. The food was very good with nice presentation. The tuna steak was excellent, the jumbo... More

Staying in Shinjuku

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
