We just happened across this place and went upstairs in their ting elevator. When we came out it opened into a beautiful Italian restaurant that had a large window with a great street view. Those seats were taken so we sat a little way back from the window. The food was all outstanding for being Italian in japan. All staff... More

This was my third Salvatore Cuomo location to visit. This one had many menu differences, so it seems that each restaurant can be different in many ways, not at all like what you would think of as a chain restaurant. Caesar salad with apples and gorgonzola was one difference. It was really, really good, very tasty. It was different enough... More

Dined here on our first night in skinjuku. This restaurant is across the road from our hotel. We just spent 2 weeks in Shiga kogean with very traditional Japanese food which we weren't very used too so our first dinner we wanted something normal to us. We order the squid to start Margarita pizza 2x meat lovers type of pizza... More

What a great little place over the main highway by the Shinjuku hotels. Not posh but food is really good and beer too. Spent my last two hours waiting for my bus to the airport so very handy and they deliver what I wanted which was a good wood oven pizza and a few beers. Service was also excellent and... More

Sat down at the table and staff placed parmesan cheese in front of us. Didn't think much of it, so ordered pizza and pasta dishes. Was quick and prompt. Food was great. When the bill arrived an extra ¥200 per person was added to the bill. Waitress stated the charge is customary for Italian restaurants in Japan to charge for... More

Located on the 47th floor of the Mori Tower with a direct view of the Tokyo Tower, Salvatore Cuomo provides the total Italian fine dinning experience. With lovely music in the lounge, and an open kitchen, the restaurant is is very attractive and comfortable. The service was top notch and ever present but not overbearing at all. The wine and... I know, pizza in Japan! But when you have hungry teenagers & a craving, you go with what you know works!. Found this place from other TripAdvisor reviews & definitely lived up to expectations. Pizza choices were spot on and the pizza was fantastic. Pasta & salads not bad either. Could tell the Italian family history in the food and... More

We wandered into this place on a rainy evening. The cocktails were awesome. We ordered simple garlic bread, a salad and a pizza. Everything was well presented and served very promptly. There is a modern classy feel to the decor. Ambiance was good.

Neighbourhood Profile
Shinjuku
Shinjuku is the commuting capital of Tokyo, and contains the busiest train station in the world. To the west, there's an office district with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Office at its center. To the east, there’s a district with long-established department stores, cinemas and theaters. Shinjuku Gyoen is a park originally built as the garden for the Imperial Household. It is quite famous as a venue for cherry-blossom viewing in March and April. In Shinjuku, many restaurants operate all night, and districts such as Omoide Yokocho (Memory Lane) or Shinjuku Golden Machi have back streets filled with tiny restaurants and bars that reflect each owner’s unique taste and style.
