Lovely food, esp if you love tofu and are generally adventurous to try out different way of eating tofu like cold raw Tofu, avocado tofu, tamago tofu and their signature. There are also non tofu dishes like tempura and grilled/fried chicken so I would say that this quite a decent place to have a meal. Btw, the tempura are freshly... More

I was attracted by the front of the shop, it's big inside, very good decorations, a lot of choices on the menu, not 100% tofu, extremely tasty, tempura is good too, reasonable price.

I really enjoyed eating here. There is a great menu, especially the duck dishes and the raw tofu, and the service is quick. They also take credit cards.

This was an unexpected gem complete with the whole shoe removal, floor seating and low table shebang. Also felt like we were in a a Japanese treehouse in our tucked away, high up and private space. Tofu Special cooked at the table was amazing. The food was delicious. The servings were small-ish but rich in flavour and enough. Highly recommend

The tofu is as great as others have commented, and as a bonus the chicken and tempura were also way above average. Avocado tofu and tofu tiramisu were standouts. A bit hard to find, but if you follow along the Yamanote Line it's a lot easier to find (Google maps routed us around streets in a less direct and more... More

Relaxing jazz music, nice atmosphere with the sound of water, was the frame to a tasty japanese dinner. The restaurant space itself is beautiful with multiple levels. Service was excellent- English based menu available and the staff try very hard to communicate as well. The food is tofu based, but not vegan. Everything is artfully presented and delicious. I suggest... More

You wouldn't suspect such a nice restaurant when you approach it from the outside. It's beneath a rather drab sixties apartment building along the Yamanote line, between Ebisu and Shibuya. However, the inside is wonderful. The menu (ie the booklet) is already a sign how thoughtful and delicate this restaurant is: printed on beautiful paper, both in Japanese and English.... More

Accidentally discovered this place as we were staying in an apartment just a few doors down the street. The restaurant space itself is beautiful with multiple levels and an tranquil indoor fountain and goldfish pound. + Great food and atmosphere. Quite interesting variations of tofu, very good desert (Tiramisu). Also tasty chicken, if you have tofu-haters with you. - Japanese white wine was not good, prices are okay -ish. = Highly recommend to visit, especially with people that do not like tofu (they will change their minds)

Staying in Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu

Neighbourhood Profile
Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast, Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool. At the Museum of Yebisu Beer you can learn about the beer that was responsible for the town’s name, and enjoy dining at the popular noodle shops in the surrounding area.
