Just arrived in Tokyo - what do first? Eat sushi! Fukuzushi was great choice for our start. We had the sushi/sashimi course. Everything was very fresh and the staff explained everything. After the meal we changed the room for coffee and dessert. Very nice place for upper class sushi!

It's really hard finding a legit sushi place that welcomes young kids, like the Famous Jiro and his son, they don't really welcome kids, so as an alternative we seemed out fukuzushi and it was an excellent choice. The owner is so friendly and accommodating to foreigners and even got us the English menu and customize the order to our... More

We were very well received at Fukuzushi. It was the first night of our honeymoon and we were very well received by the owners. Each person contributes to making an overall friendly and interesting atmosphere, combined with delicious sushi. a real treat !

I've been to Fukuzushi a couple of times for dinner. This is one of the the few higher-end restaurants that happily accommodates non-Japanese customers (I'm looking at you Jiro). The hostess/owner is a very friendly and fluent in English. The food is fantastic. Very fresh and delicious.

I'm shy when picking restaurants in Japan. But I found this place to be very enjoyable... I sat at the bar and the chef recommended the sushi set, 8 pieces for 6000¥ at dinner. Everything was delicious! And everyone was friendly, from being greeted at the door to being taught some more Japanese phrases other than "oishii des." I recommend... More

Best value sushi in tokyo. Amazing quality. Fabulous people. great atmosphere. Family run, now by the fourth generation. The great-granddaughter of the founder runs front of house and her husband is the #3 chef. The two older chefs trained under her grandfather. I have been going here for 10 years and cant recommend it highly enough! They have an English... More

For our last night in Tokyo we wanted sushi that didn't COMPLETELY break the bank but we also wanted it to be insanely delicious. We picked the perfect restaurant. The sushi chef gave us so much personal attention and the sushi was by far the best I've ever had in my entire life. We were skeptical about going because of... More

I reserved at Fukuzushi with some trepidation, based on the mixed reviews, and indeed I did regret it. The place was nearly empty when we walked in at 7, and it was not much fuller when we left an hour-and-a-half later. Whole place felt dead. Zero people at tables -- maybe a dozen at counter. From the overly-staged greeting to... More

We sat at the counter and as always, went for the set meal option. We opted for the mid range option 9K++ JPY per person, which is still relatively reasonably priced at just under 90 USD. We had shashimi, a nice soup, tuna steak and the star of the show, sushi! We had a fun evening sitting at the bar... More
