Location: Azabu-Juban area of Tokyo Specialties: Pizza Reservation: Recommended for Dinner Family Friendly: Difficult, but possible Visited for: Lunch I have been hearing stories about this restaurant since we first moved to Japan over two years ago, but it was never a convenient stop for us while in Tokyo. Finally, we were lucky enough to find ourselves close to Azabu-Juban... More

A brick oven and 12 or so stools around the bar. That's the whole place. Only a couple of pizzas on the menu and some sides, but the quality of the pizza is impeccable. perfectly salty. and a good list of beers. It's a very Japanese experience and fortunately for us, right down the hill.

Only two pizzas but they are outstanding. They would make a lot Napolitain pizzaioli very jealous. Before you become a regular client the service can be rough though. It becomes very friendly after a few visits. They are part of those Japanese purists who won't let you eat the way you want if it is not deemed Italian (like trying... More

Japanese food is amazing for sure....A friend told me to try a pizza in between sushi etc...Strange advice, but I trust this guy, so we went. we live in New York and we pride ourselves about having the best pizzas in the world, but not really. This Tokyo small artisanal pizzeria, owned and run by Japanese, is UP THERE ,... More

Tiny restaurant, really good pizzas with very limited choice (only 2 types of pizza on the menu). The crew is young, all Japanese with good English. Larger choice for appetizers while u wait for your pizza. It will be prepared in front of your eyes, 45 seconds in the oven and there you go. Oichi desu as they say in... More

I went there a couple of time (lunch time) when I was working at Roppongi. Pizza where always good and nothing to really complain except maybe: The place is only ~10 seats, and even if there are only 2~3 customers, 3~4 staff and only one working (making pizza), when your glass is empty the remaining ~3 staff will NEVER care... I know what you're thinking - pizza when in Tokyo! But you must go!!!! Found this place on stay.com and am so happy we did. Didn't have a reservation, so we had a bit of a wait, but well worth it! The restaurant only seats about 12 people, most with views of your pizza being made. We had two pizzas,... More

We worried when the menu stated that there are only two pizzas on the menu with ingredients perfectly balanced blah blah blah. Pretentious waffle. Then the pizzas came. Fantastic pizza prepared and cooked in front of you in this tiny 13 seater pizzeria. Order some super fresh salads to start while you watch the pizza action!

Thin crust prepared and baked in a wood-fired over before your very eyes! The side dish of pulpo (octopus) and red wine complete this exquisite yet casual meal. This pizzeria is a gem! HAve recommended this to friends and will come back!
