On our last night in Tokyo we decided to have Wagyu beef. We had already sampled Kobe and Ohmi several times on our trip and we really wanted to try Matsuzaka. Despite the false claims there are very few places in the US where you can get genuine Japanese Kobe (I believe there are 8 ) and we had heard... More

I wish I could review the food. From what we could see around us it looked amazing. We were seated at a table with a beautiful view which we were able to enjoy for about 45 minutes while we we're (almost) completely ignored. I say "almost" because the server did toss some menus (entirely in Japanese) our way before ignoring... More

Second time coming here, first time was for lunch, second time was for dinner. Lunch time, the meals are affordable (¥8000 for 2 people), light, and as most other reviews have said, a great view (provided you get a window seat). Dinner time, contains a larger variety of course selections. I would always suggest getting their current promotional courses (May... More

Located on the 41st floor of the Shiodome City Center building and can be accessed by public transportation (Shinabashi JR station, Odeo line, Ginza line, etc.) or taxi. Depending on the location of your seats, you can have a great view of the Tokyo skyline. For seats not by the windows, they install mirrors that you can see the reflection... More

Wonderful location on the 41st floor of the Shiodome building. Beautiful view of Tokyo at night with excellent food and atmosphere. The thin sliced Kobe beef was amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening!

We decided to go for grilled meat on the top (41th floor) of the Caretta tower. The lunch menu is a great deal: 1500 yen for a good meat selection, rice, soup and vegetables, cooking your own meal and looking at the City from an amazing spot. Personell is friendly and speaks well english.

Staying in Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi

Neighbourhood Profile
Odaiba / Shiodome / Shinbashi
Odaiba is an entertainment hotspot with a giant ferris wheel, concert halls, amusement arcades and lots of shopping. It also boasts Oedo-onsen-monogatari, a hotspring that recreates old Edo-era ambiance and is very popular with foreign visitors. Shiodome has ultra-modern office buildings where you can often find restaurants with a great high-rise view of Tokyo. The neighboring area of Shinbashi is a district of much older commercial buildings and it's a great place to join 'salary men' enjoying a drink and snacks at street stalls under the railway bridges after work.
