A joel robuchon pastry shop, below the restaurant and la table. Ok quality and service, and of course, on the expensive side

Went in for a coffee and a cake. Not impressed, coffee was nothing special. Chestnut tart was simply too sweet...

A small bakery on the basement floor of the chateau in Ebisu, it has flavorful pastries one must try. We had the brioche seasoned with Sauternes wine and it was one of the best piece of bread I had. No seating so recommend buy a...handful and enjoy with coffee on the benches of Ebisu Garden.More

A secret little patisserie in the basement of the famous restaurant (supposedly Tokyo’s best). Tokyo has dozens of great French patisseries, and this one is the equal of any we tried. Our group of 5 each tried a pastry, and for 3000 yen total it...was a fantastic way to “teleport” to Paris, even if only for a minute.More

If only it was for being a Joel Robuchon it worth the visit. Delicious French patisseries, crepes and mini cakes as they should be. Helpful staff, elegant decor. Try to get an outdoor seating. 7/10

I stop here every time I am in town for breakfast, snacks, or lunch To Go. I've tried all types of sweet and savory treats such as olive bread, the flakiest croissants (especially chocolate), pear pastry, croque Monsieur, ham and cheese and smoked salmon with...avocado sandwiches, and more. Everything I've tried has been delicious. This bakery sets a high standard for taste and quality. There are so many choices, with some items only available during certain times of day (I believe there are 3 timeslots per day where certain items for sale are available). Not much English spoken here. The bakery also sells drinks.More

Good sandwich offerings and an impressive array of sweets. Good housewarming gifts. And it has decent operating hours -- open very early in the morning and shuts late in the afternoon.

fresh treats during shopping. Reasonably priced. Our favorites were the chocolate croissants, caramels and toasted nuts.

Absolutely superb bakery... everything we tried was really delicious... both savory and sweet... obviously not low in calories, but who goes into a french style bakery expecting a low calorie experience ;-) Seriously good - very Paris :-) Loved it...

I went there 3 times during our 3 day stay. French pastries in Japan somehow works. Yumm. They have savory pastries as well as sweet. I had a wonderful wild mushroom and gorgonzola tart.

Shibuya / Harajuku / Ebisu
There are countless opportunities to shop in the
Shibuya and Harajuku districts, especially in shops
that focus on Japan's "Kawaii" culture. The trendiest
areas are around Shibuya’s Center district, Harajuku's
Takeshita-dori and in Omotesando. If you need to
recharge from all the shopping, you can easily refresh
yourself in Meiji Jingu or Sasaki Park. In contrast,
Ebisu has a more grown up ambiance of calm and cool.
