This restaurant was recommended by our tour consultant and we had the special Wagyu beef sukiyaki set menu which we were told was most expensive & best-loved in Japan. We had our own room & server which likely added to cost (in reading other reviews, we would likely have preferred counter seats). My husband kept the bill as souvenir JPY56,800... More

The restaurant was recommended by our hotel concierge when I asked him for a place that specializes in Matsukaza beef. It took us a while to find it (the taxi got us close and a local merchant walked us into an alley where the elevator took us to the 8th floor. many signs in Japanese but not in English. We... More

Following a Japanese friend's recommendation, we went to this place to try the famous "Matsuzaka beef". Japan is known to have very good customer service, but the service at this restaurant is BEYOND exception for Japanese standards. The day before, we asked our hotel to call the restaurant to help us confirm our reservation. Because of that, they knew we... More

The restaurant is very discreetly located in a small office block in Ginza. Decor is plain and simple. The sukiyaki with their best aged Matsuzaka beef is simply out of this world. Incredible fatty and unhealthy, but it's worth it! The staff maintain very high service levels - they do virtually everything bar placing the food in your mouth. It's... More
