Batter is heavy, and tempura is greasy. Shrimps are not fried crisp, one of the worst I had. Anago is greasy. None of the vegetables were savory, bad selection. 15.000 Yen per person is rip off for foreigners. Just pick any in Tabelog over 3.5 and you will have incomparable experience for less than 10.000 Yen. reach out to over... More

The restaurant has very good tumpura. I will talk about the courses menu because that what I tried. First there are 3 courses to choose from 9,000¥ , 11,000¥ and 14,000¥. I got the 14,000¥ and my wife got the 9,000¥. The only difference between them are in the 14,000 you will get one extra fish, different vegetables and a... More

A perfect place for lunch. We had both the set menu and a la carte menu and was seated at the counter. Sitting at the counter gave us the opportunity to point and pick which items we wanted to try. The flexibility of the a la carte menu is very good and it gives the flexibility to have as much... More

Can't deny the tempura is tasty. For me it isn't worth the price tag for a simple lunch. Most high end tempura restaurants appear to be priced similarly. I might try a less well known one toencounter fewer tourists....then again, I probably will won't go on my own dime again.

A very good place, very elegant and very very tasty tempura. The staff are super friendly and helpful. great choice of local saki as well. The tempura was perfect, a variety of both seafood and vegetables and good side dishes to go with it such an noodles as well. You leave the place without smelling of the all the frying... More

Absolutely delish, all the tempura served was amazing - crisp yet succulent and the batter didn't take away the flavors of the star, be it the prawns, scallops, vegetables, etc The chef will prepare each item fresh for your consumption, so everything is lightly crisp and warm, ready to be experienced. Two set menus on offer that makes it easier... More

I chanced upon this restaurant after doing some shopping around Ginza and decided to give it a try. It was mid-afternoon when my friend and I went in for lunch, so the restaurant was pretty much empty. The staff at the coat-check counter were friendly, albeit in a more professional way rather than with warmth — not that it is... More

Came with friends for dinner at this hyped restaurant. Centrally located in Ginza, it was not crowded and had warm atmosphere. We sat by the counter where the chef prepared the tempura dish and served it one at a time. Everything we ordered was delicious although quite pricey. To our surprise, the priciest of all was the melon desert, which... More

The tempura batter was not terribly crispy. I suppose it might be a particular style but I didn't love it. This was sort of soft and almost granular, the texture of fried superfine sugar, perhaps. The amount of food you're served is scant. One scallop. One mushroom. Two shrimp. One asparagus spear. Little more. It was hard to believe it... More
