Such a beautiful lobby lounge. Small and intimate. Loved the food choices, the service, second to none. The bar was magnificent, with a crystal ceiling. A place to sit in comfort with a drink. Had our dinner there ,the first night we arrived. Faultless. It's situated on the 28th. Floor, with great views over Tokyo.

I was here for a solo afternoon tea after a long day of shopping, and had a lovely time watching the sun set from the 28th floor of the Tokyo Shangri-La. The service is impeccable, as I were greeted with fresh cold water and warm towels to wash of my hands at arrival to my table. I chose the full... More

Although the Lobby Lounge no longer serve breakfast, but it still serves lunch and dinner. The lounge offers a great alternative to the Piacere Restaurant in the Shangri-La Hotel. The lounge offer good selection of foods and the service is fantastic. The lounge is also a great place to have a night cap before bed, great selection of beer, wine... More

While staying at the Peninsula Tokyo, I received free breakfast through the Amex Travel Fine Hotels booking. The lobby lounge was a good option since it is casual and located in the beautiful lobby. They offered Western, Japanese and Chinese options. Food was very good and so was the service.

A late lunch before we explore the city. We haven't been to Tokyo before and it was so convenient to find a casual yet sophisticated lunch venue within the hotel. In this well appointed lounge some were enjoying lunch as we were, and others had arrived to take afternoon tea. The lounge menu is extensive and ranges from healthy lunch... More

I ate here several times during my stay at the hotel. The service was always excellent and the food wonderful. The lunch sandwiches are so good and their special with soup, sandwich and fries is perfect. They always seat you immediately and make sure your server speaks English. I even given a stool for my purse during lunch! Talk about... More

Would not recommend having afternoon tea here. As we entered no one asked for our coats so we had to hang them on the back of our chairs. We ordered two classic cream teas and one Christmas cream tea , the quality was terrible and we were not served some o f the dishes included, we had to ask where... More

Main lobby bar of Shangri La, with almost 270 degrees view of the financial district, with very nice late breakfast (for jet lagged guests) and even better high tea, very English style. In the evening, it transforms in usual hotel bar, with very good mixologist and hence long selection of nice cocktails.

Beautiful place for afternoon tea. Beware, though, as it's not bottomless! We expected more and more food to be brought around (as they do in the Park Hyatt in Shinjuku) but once the food on the tray was gone there was no more to be had. Overall, the quality of the tea and food was excellent, the service was fantastic... More

Lobby Lounge is located on the 28th floor of Shangri-La Hotel in Tokyo. Easy to find and not too busy for a late drink.
