Exceptional location, great architecture, breathtaking view over the ocean.... The decor is a good start. The 6, 12 or 21 plates menu (seafood or veggie) is promising. The plates are pieces of art, the tastes are subtle and perfect matches. A total success, 2 Michelin...stars easily deserved ! And the desserts (especially "Late Harvest") concluded this wonderful lunch as a fireworks ! Simply perfect !More

Fantastic location but the food and service don’t even deserve 1⭐️. A big disappointment! The staff felt tired and un inspired. When the asked if we like the experience the didn’t even waited for the answer. Don’t go there it is really not wort it!

The restaurant is incredible romantic with beautiful views of the rocks and the sea! The quality of the food is amazing and even the chef Rui Paula comes to your table and you have the chance to chat with him about his creative ideas and...vision! Highly recommend!More

Casa de Cha, a two Michelin star restaurant by Portuguese Chef Rui Paula. The restaurant, fantastically inserted into the rocks right at the sea, is a iconic building by the world famous Portuguese architect Siza Vieira. Superb meal, flawlessly presented. The location in perfect tune...with the choice of menu. “Thank god for the view and thank chef Rui for the meal."More

A 2 Michelin star restaurant is always top. And you will eat very well. But for the price and ‘fame’ we expected a bit more. And some surprises. 21 dishes (some combined) but very expensive !

Perfect 2 Michelin lunch. Being the 3rd Rui Paula I tried. DOP 5 stars, DOC 3 stars this one is again top. Well deserving the 2 Michelin stars working for the 3rd. Highly recommended.

I don't know if it is the most beautiful but it's fabulous, the whole experience is fabulous. The view is breathtaking, the service is very good and relaxed, the food couldn't be better. We lunch 6 people and select the 6 course menu. Carlos, the...sommelier, selected the 6 wines - what a journey. we ended up on the terrace enjoying the warm sunset. A must go and enjoy!More

We went for the 21-course menu, every dish was very good with some being truly outstanding. The venue is amazing and the sommelier provided some fine suggestions regarding the wine. The menu is fully seafood focused so be prepared for that. Overall, a truly enjoyable...experience, made more memorable by the chef which reached out to our table twice. We will come back, next time during the day.More

I've been here with my architect girlfriend, architecture passionate. You can study this building on books, but you cannot imagine what you feel when you are there. Outside and inside are built with the same mania for details, absolutely unique. People are kind and nice,...friendly and smiling. The sommelier is very well prepared and selected for us amazing wine, perfectly paired with food. The food itself honestly does not worth the visit. Some of the courses are raw fish food, that I love but I'd rather go to the market instead of a starred Michelin restaurant. If you don't go for the 21 courses, you cannot chose what to eat but the chef will chose for you. I don't want to be polemic but sounds a bit weird that lobster and scallops are out of chef choice. What instead is alway included is the toast. 2 slices of bread with lardo and butter.... Honestly I would have expected more of chefs hand in the dishes. In conclusion, if you plan to be there for the food it's an expensive idea, if you plan to go there for the experience its priceless.More

With a fantastic location and unique landscape setting, this amazing house by the renowned architect Siza Vieira accomodates a restaurant of high quality, with excellent service coordinated by the chief Rui Paula. Although expensive, it is one of the best places for a special dinner.

Not to my knowledge, at least not on foot. You go there for the amazing food and depending on which tasting you select, it could be a very long meal. For other activities, you will be better served to go back to the more... More

Best to call for a taxi (or equivalent). It shouldn't take more than 30 minutes (depending on the hour)

The best option is by taxi. The restaurant is about 20 -25 minutes from central Porto and not easy to find. Take a taxi especially if you plan to do the excellent wine pairing with your meal.
