We were taken here by a friend, it can be very busy so need to book, lots of food and very good, but the red wine they serve with the meal is awful, but other drinks are available at extra cost.

We were a bit confused at first when our drinks arrived including a bottle of wine for the glas we thought we had ordered and a... More

Having been recommended by various people we decided, having no alternative transport,to cycle from Calpe to Jalon. Upon arrival,we seated ourselves at an empty table only to be told after a couple of minutes that this particular table was reserved. We would not have sat there if had there been a sign,we were then ushered outside being told all tables were... More

All I can say is that we really enjoyed our meal and the whole experience. And a very big, pleasant surprise was the price, 5 courses with all the wine you can drink for under €20!! The restaurant was full so booking is almost essential. Thoroughly recommended.

Went for a Sunday afternoon feed and drinks. What a great afternoon. The food was yummy and plentiful, and service was perfect. We had tapas, soup, salad, a huge chunk of lamb (Duck,Beef and chicken were also available), and pancakes with strawberry jam to finish off. They kept our wine crafts topped up all the time with local vino, and... More

We visited as a group of 5 for a Sunday lunch. The wine was waiting on the table for our arrival, carafe of vino tinto. Extra drinks, beer, water & soft drinks were ordered. No menus, but we already knew that and its all part of the experience. The first course rustic chickpeas was a tasty delight served with a... More

Staying close by for only one week we found this place after a drive up the slightly hairy drive up through the hills - its about 15 mins from Jalon. Do book as it is very popular and now we know why. The staff, the food, the setting, the music - everything was just so well prepared and our relaxing... More
