We had a fantastic meal here. The most unique thing about this retaurant is that the chef does not shy away from strong flavors. For someone who loves flavor this is a great restaurant in a perfect setting. My meal was the bacalao with red peppers and olive tapenade (fantastic), the steak with roquefort sauce (strong but wonderful!), and the... More

What a lovely restaurant in such a beautiful setting of an old and mural-decorated house, in the beautiful and medieval town of Vic. The food was excellent- we started with mouth melting fish croquettes and I had chicken while mum had fish- the portions were large and oh so worth the price as the service was gracious too; so true... Cal U is situated in a old well restored building in the historic district of VIC. It has a very good daily menu with a good value for money. The ground floor is casual style, but the first floor is more elegant and smart. People where very friendly and take us for a short visit to the building that impressed... More

This restaurant is set on the first floor of a stunning Vic town house. A sweeping staircase leads to a beautifully decorated restaurant. As we were 7 we were led to a private dining room off the main restaurant. The lunch menu at €24 for 3 courses included bread and water. The house wine was excellent at under £10. There... More

This restaurant was recommended by locals, and we are all very happy for their recommendation! The menu for lunch was great and had very interesting options, between all of us (8) we tried just about all the dishes and it was all delicious! The staff there were all very professional and nice, and our lunch was served quickly. It is... More

Yesterday we were in Vic and ended up in this restaurant after some recommendations from locals. It's a nice place but it's really expensive for the kind of service they give and the food is not so outstanding. The quality is good but the food we ordered from the menu which was shellfish, was finished, so we had to change... More

Our driver kept trying to find us restaurants in Vic but they were all full. The locals kept giving him suggestions and we finally ended up in this lovely petit palais which was an old majestic home from a former era. The food was wonderful and the staff were so nice. There is a restaurant downstairs for 18 euros for... More

The restaurant is quite nicely furnished with a lot of creativity and taste. It's a unique space that only for this warrants a visit. The service is also quite good. It is a pity therefore that the food cannot hold up. Meals were quite average and not particularly good. For a very reasonably priced normal meal in an exceptional restaurant... More

In the old Vic town centre, in a old building, very well restored, Ca l'U is a elegant location to have a good lunch or dinner. Edifici antic molt ben restaurat al centre históric de Vic. Good menu, plenty of choices for 23€. Bon menu a bon preu. Racions abundants. We choose dinner on the first floor, premium restaurant style,... More

This is a restaurant set in the old town of Vic. It has two parts: the garden and the restaurant. Menus are cheaper in the garden. The restaurant looks gorgeous!! The waiter pay good care of customers. Food taste nice, not amazing, just nice. There is one cons, "la carte" is too short for this kind of restaurant.
