During 2 weeks we have had the pleasure to visit this restaurant several times. We always received fantastic service and high class local food. Absolutely worth recommending!

The welcome we received at Il Rintocco was reason enough for a top notch review, though, in full disclosure, we were with some locals who frequent the place. Best pizza we had during our weeklong visit to the Tuscany region. Fresh fish ... so fresh...that the owner proudly showed us a platter of raw fish that was brought in that day. (We chose a fried selection of anchovy, calamari and prawns.) Cinigiano is an adorable town with friendly resident cats patrolling the streets.More
We have holidays for 6 years now in Cinigiano, so it's time to flag Il Rintocco as a top place to eat. We already enjoyed everything on the menu: fresh fish, seafood, pizza, and bistecca Fiorentina. All fresh, tasteful, and brought with a smile by...Fabio, Monica and Ivan. This time next year, we'll be back!More
Few tables, excellent food and top service. It’s a very special place for gourmets searching for genuine ingredients and flavours. Try fish, as spaghetti alle vongole, roasted chicken and at the end taste the tiramisù. Good value for money
Rintocco is the only restaurant in the tiny town of Cinigiano but surprisingly formidable with great pizzas, seafood, pastas! Owners are sooo attentive and genuine. A little Gem indeed!
Probably our most memorable meal in Italy - and we have been here 2 weeks and going to top restaurants - and this one has just outdone itself with the authenticity, friendliness, amazing food and just overall great vibe! We loved the daily special Zuchini...carpaccio with truffles and burratta and the veal cutlet with the most incredible roasted potatoes and peas ever. The waiter - from Peru origin - was a fantastic guy. Friendly and super professional! We loved all! Bravo!More
We visited Il Rintocco two times while stayed in a nearby Agriturismo. It has a fantastic location on a small square. The dinnere we had were very-very good with served with outstanding hospitality. We would defenately recommend it if you are nearby!:-)
My wife and I have been to Italy many times. But this trip involved a different dining experience because we decided to become vegan last year. We arrived at Il Rintocco, located in the small but picturesque piazza of Cinigiano village. This smiling gentlemen greeted...us and proudly showed us a demonstration plate with raw cuts of beef. We admired the meat and then kindly explained we didn’t eat any animal-based products. Fabio didn’t miss a beat. He smiled and went through the entire menu with us, telling us which plates were meat and cheese-free. He even made a few special substitutions so we could enjoy some local favourites like porcini mushrooms and truffles. For us, the sign of a master restauranteur is the ability to be flexible as well as cordial. We have a wonderful enjoying local vegetables, pasta, bread and wine!More
Been here four times. Very nice filetto, perfect fresh fish. Very welcoming host Fabio with good advice. Oh, and nice wine from Casale Pozzuolo.
Porcini, (means little pigs in Italian) are the same mushroom called cèpe (in French), and in Germany, Steinpilz (the "stone mushroom"). They are gathered wild in the woods in the fall and people make some extra money selling them to vendors and restaurants. Here, in...Ristorante Rintocco they brought a big plate of the mushrooms for us to see, along with two beautiful fresh fish. We split an antipasto which consisted of a bowl of Tuscan soup, a plate of marinated zucchini and a bruschetta with fresh tomato. I had the home made tagliatelle with the porcini. My husband had fish. My pasta was obviously made by hand and it was slightly over cooked so it stuck together and the porcini sauce was quite sparse. Otherwise everything was good.More
