The restaurant is not very big, it is a tavern and you fill like you are in a cave. The food is amazing: we enjoyed everything!!! I suggest to try the "pasta e fagioli" and the starters, very very good. It is not an expensive place, to be honest it was cheaper than expected. Definitely a place to visit.

My wife, 95-year old Mom, older brother and his wife, younger daughter and her husband and their two young children, and I joined two of my cousins for a great dinner. My wife, younger daughter, son-in-law, and I first ate there in 2012. The owners are very hospitable and prepare excellent meals. We specifically wanted to eat there; since, we... More

Have visited this restaurant for the past couple of years on family holidays and it never disappoints! The zucchini flower ravioli are my favourite thing to eat in the world and are amazing every time! Good steak and cheap (but lovely) wine too! This restaurant is real Italian food done well.

Lunch here last week is now on our mental list of favourite travel meals of all time. Understated but sublime in the food, vino di casa, ambience and staff. We were in the general region doing family history research and driving through this little town we asked a man outside a bar where we might eat. He recommended Due Canonni... More

We didn't visit Due Cannoni till the last night of our holiday but it was definitely the best meal of the week. The service was excellent and food was traditional and homemade this is a hidden gem and a must for any one in the area. 5* due cannoni

My wife, younger daughter, her husband, and I traveled from the airport near Rome in April 2011 to Oliveto Citra, east of Salerno in the Campagna region. I still remember that visit with great memories. My maternal Grandfather was a surgeon in the US Army during WW I. He was in Oliveto Citra (his parents home before they emigrated to... More

My experience at Due Cannoni was outstanding. Next to my Mother's (and her sister's) kitchen, this restaurant's food is as home made as it gets. Delicious and very nice owners. I was a guest of my family who live in Oliveto and the experience was memorable.

Being in Oliveto, Contursi, Campania you just cannot miss it!!!! Lovely interior, great service but above all the pleasure of eating simply the core of the region. Starting with handmade pasta and ravioli; sauces and fillings depending on season, through wonderful meat and my favourite side dishes with a grand finale of "dolci". Home made cakes just to mention "Zia... More
