Nice fish dishes on the grill but also the meat was great. Nice experience. Sitting on the terrace and looking to the man who is cleaning the fish you will get on your plate a little bit later.

We were recommended this place by our accommodation owners. Wish we had gone elsewhere. Food was okay but tasted much better prawn spaghetti in Zadar for a lot less Kuna. Nice setting if dry and staff were polite enough.

I normally don't prefer to negative review, if I don't like food I rather prefer to leave a neutral review than negative. But...The food was not eatable! How is this place remains as successful in business is a miracle.

Of all the restaurants visited in Croatia this one has my golden star. The view is quite amazing. The 2 terraces equally cosy and welcoming. The service perfect and the food absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend the lamb chops and the pork neck. Grilled in front of you, the meat is tender and tasty. And all of that for... More

The restaurant has a beautiful garden and, separately, a terrace right on top of the bay. Book in advance for the terrace, the view is fantastic as well as the atmosphere. We had a grilled fish and seafood risotto and we enjoyed both very much. A bit pricey but the food and atmosphere make it worthy.

Let's face it, the big months are over and it's now Sept, the staff are tired. Great view for sure, not exactly forthcoming with the freshness of their seafood ie: Lobsters are frozen, squid is frozen, it's out of season unless farmed, including the Sea Bass. Im sure on a good busy mid season night this would have been better,... More

Traditional Dalmatian cooking. The speciality, lamb peka, is highly recommended but you should phone in the morning to order as it is slow cooked for several hours. The restaurant also has a good quality menu of fish and seafood. Service is friendly and efficient. Good location overlooking the sea.

The fish ("first class fish") was good, typical fish meal for Croatia and the meat (bifftek) was good. Ask the waiter what there specialty is. The service was good. They were nice to the children and had a good eye when you needed something.

I ate here 10 years ago and it has gotten even better. Location: Hard to improve on the view. Elevated with a nice breeze looking back into Komiza harbor. Nothing better on the island of Vis. Service: Perfect. We were not rushed at all. This Restuarant needs reservations and it gets packed about 8:30 - 9pm. Food: Our appetizers were... More

Very good restaurant with nice view to marina and sea. Perfect fresh sea bass, you can ask the staff for fileting. See you next year and thank you!

If you turn left going through Ribarska street from Riva to the hotel, you can come to the terrace of Konoba "Barba". Surrounded with traditional island architecture, you can see the whole Komiza bay from there. Enjoy the beauty and charm of this place that seems to have been built by nobles for their pleasure, and share divine moments pampered by experienced staff and traditional meals made from ecologically bred groceries, meat and fish from local fishermen.
