This restaurant was recommended by our B&B. We were seated in the garden. Beautiful! We are here for three nights. Excellent dinners every time! We had the chef specials with chicken and fish. The salads were large and very good. Chef Chris and his wife, Nathalie, made us feel welcome every night. Would highly recommend this restaurant.

I ate here on route to the train station in Tours. It is in front of the 'Tourists Office' and there are places to park nearby. From the outside it looks like a lorry drivers cafe with a few tables. However inside the restaurant is big and there is a quaint garden where the locals eat. very pleasant. Good traditional... More

Recommended by Tourist Information in the village and not disappointed. Staff really happy and helpful, food good. Sat in the garden with pretty lights and shade, good wines and overall lovely evening.

Lots of traditional items such as pigs ears and trotters which we did not try, however the more English accustomed dishes such as the confit duck, chicken terrine and tiramisu were superb. Bottles of wine are slightly expensive - circa €20, but this is more than made up for by the food.

My husband and I were staying in Rochecorbon so decided to sample the restaurant. In fact, we came back the next night too because we enjoyed it so much! The food is interesting, tasty and regional, we loved chatting with all the staff, and the relaxed but authentic feel of the restaurant was a highlight of our trip. Oh, we... More

A real bistro with local authentic specialties. An attractive menu, also nice seating inside or outside in a garden (not on the river side) , nicer than what you would expect at entry. Uncoordinated staff leads to fluctuating performance : from too fast to too slow, from spontaneous to arrogant.Food quality can not match expectation created. The dishes are clearly... More

We had a most wonderful dinner in this restaurant, recommended by our hosts at the Les Fontaines hotel. The hostess, Catherine, was delightful and made some excellent recommendations for wine, entrees and the main meal. We enjoyed the experience so much that we returned the next night for another pleasing meal.

Authentic restaurant just accross the Tourist Info office, walking distance from Loire Valley Medieval Loft vacation rental in the lovely village of Rochecorbon. L'Embarcadère offers delicate home-made dishes cooked with tasteful local ingredients. Nathaly and her team always do their best to please you! Nice value for money of the kids' menu with crispy homemade fries and chicken, no junk... More

Good local restaurant. Fresh food - menu on a board. Not fancy but good. You get up to go and look at the wines and choose what you want. Friendly service.
