The restaurant was recommended by my lovely landlady Laura, who said it was quite cheap but good food. Judge for yourself, at €10 for stale ravioli and (probably) canned black truffle. The daily menu probably was fresh fettuccine but beware of the set menu. I saw others get multiple orders of seafood risotto, which was flavoured with tomato sauce which... More

The day of Infiorata, an annual religious ceremony where the bishop walks over hand made floral decorations on the ground, is for Tarquinia one of the busiest days of the year for the town restaurants as several day travellers come from Rome. While other establishments were booked out, we could be accommodated here, in their patio area. We ordered pasta... More

We dined here in the pleasant patio in the back. The service was quick and friendly, but we were known. The food was mixed: something was good, something else not so much. Nothing horrible, but also nothing worth remembering. There are better places in Tarquinia.

The food was OK; the problem was that it came without being ordered, yet we were billed for it. After ordering two antipasti assortments and declining an entre and dessert, a mix of desserts arrived. Our bill included the two antipasti, plus a cheese plate (not ordered), mixed veggies (not ordered) and the dessert combo (40 euro worth). When we... More

Great meal, friendly staff. They brought my steak out to check that it was rare and bloody enough. Crispy calamari (not deep fried). Good house wine. Frequented by Italians.

Nice restaurant, good atmosphere sitting outside, very friendly staff, reasonable prices, good food but the menu was in Italian only. I thought I had ordered a mixed grilled fish platter but instead got a platter of sepia and 3 big gambas. Not my taste and quite a mission to eat them, but probably just a misunderstanding due to language. My... More

A traditional Italian setting, complete with plastic flowers. Everywhere was scrupulously clean. We had mixed bruschetta, squid and prawns in batter, which although frozen were extremely sweet and tasty; two mixed very fresh salads and two espressos, all for less than 40 euros. It was very good value for money. Simple food , simply cooked and the waiters were very... More

To this restaurant brought us very good smell which filled all street. Interior contains one big room with many tables and looks very simple...but it was full of people. We ordered only antipasto di mare for two and we were full like after few hours of eating. Fishes were fresh and made in very simple but delicious way.

Very good restaurant in the old Tarquinia. Been here on a wonderful day in April - very quick service, nice setting - we had mixed bruschetta, pasta with fish (different types) and very good home wine. Don't miss the "carciofo alla romana". Strongly recommended - very honest price for extremely good food

Not the best meal we had in tarquinia, but pretty darned good. Mixed seafood bruscheta excellent; so was the mushroom ravioli. Very nice outdoor seating area, accomodating waiter. At 9 pm we were the only customers; strange. But we left happy.
