We popped in for a quick refresher. Bira Morretti on tap and wainwrights from the pump are excellent pints. The view from the outside area is excellent. The screen offers great shelter and does not obscure the stunning scenery. Will be back for food.

We visited on Easter Sunday as part of a bigger family group. I had the potted shrimps for starter and lamb roast dinner. Both of these were delicious. I was very happy with the food and service and would definitely return. I am surprised to read the negative reviews. We certainly didn't feel the same. Thank you for a lovely... More

Not happy with the prices of the food. Good enough for a meal but the chef is trying to hard to make it something it doesn't need to be. Just want chips not fancy messed about chips. Kids want the same. Would not go back. Toilets were to small and not clean.

Having recently bought a caravan nearby we were looking forward to getting familiar with the local 'dog friendly pubs and restaurants'. After a short walk along the prom we decided to call in for a latte and to check out the food menu (for another time). I enquired if they served 'speciality coffees' and was told yes - I ordered... Ate here with the Mrs on a Saturday night. Food was very good and well looked after the staff. I had the Lakeland lamb which was very good. We sat near the window so had a great view of the sunset.

Popped in for a pint and to check out the food. Pub has a large restaurant area and a separate bar. Restaurant area was nearly empty. A man was using a laptop and nursing a drink at one table, so we assumed it would be OK to have our drink there while checking out the menu. On ordering our drinks... More

This was the first time we had eaten at the Albion but we had noticed it is always busy which we took as a good sign. No disappointment. The food was excellent. The service was great. The only downside was the bias towards meat lovers although there were a couple of vegetarian options and where we sat the lights were... More

We've visited The Albion a number of times now and have yet to feel welcome, not family friendly. One room doesn't allow kids the other is set up for food so if you go with your family be prepared to sit outside.
