We arrived at 12.30 and the person behind the bar told us to walk around and find ourself a table, seemingly totally disinterested. There weren't any and eventually... More

Evening meals and breakfast were excellent. The wine list was to our liking with prices to suit all. The choice of hot or cold breakfast was outstanding.

Menu has a good choice to suit all tastes. Food was cooked and served to a high standard. Price of a 2 or 3 course option is not excessive for what you get. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Staff are attentive Drinks reasonable and a vast choice Dining room is traditional, but do look around the other rooms in the hotel for all the RAF memorabilia . And sit in the bar... More

Although it does state that it's open to non-residents, it's not obvious when you arrive at the hotel that they do serve lunches. but just go in to the reception desk and they will direct you through to the bar, where a range of meals are served. There's plenty of room, and we sat at a table looking out over... More

Woodall spa is lost in time. As is this hotel. Everything about it is lovely. The staff are so polite. The gardens are amazing. The clientele are well mannered. This is how England should be. Went new years eve for lunch. Lovely food at good prices...... very busy, but so it should be.

A good value three course meal at £25 a head, with nice ordinary food, no quirky foams, or fancy mini portions just good quality British fare. Nice friendly waiting staff, a most enjoyable time was had by all.
