This was a nice restaurant and was really nice sitting on the beach, however I dont think the staff were nearly as friendly as at other places we had been during our stay in Rarotonga. The food was lovely and the sticky date pudding a...More

My favourite place to dine in Raro - best food, amazing view and location. I have been three times now and each time has not disappointed! Can't wait to go back!

This is a good spot just a 10 minute scooter ride down the road from the Little Polynesian. Great setting right on the beach with the “toes in the sand” thing happening. Bit of an Indian/Asian influence here and the seafood curry was delicious. Bit...More

Rediscovered the Vaima and the food is still incredible. Friendly, helpful staff, and a good selection to choose from the menu.

Quite pricey but good. Multiple entrees are the way to go here as they are a decent size - went for lunch and dinner and had delicious meals of squid, ika mata and chicken caesar salad. Husband found his seafood curry a little small.

Just returned from Raro. My husband and I decided to try Vaima out primarily because it was strongly recommended by our resort and they offered complimentary transfers. The setting of the restaurant was absolutely beautiful. Loved being in a tent right on the beach. I...More

We went to Vaima restaurant in Vaimaanga, Rarotonga for dinner. The service was nice and attentive, and the food was good. People do rave about this restaurant, and the meat lovers pizza was very good. The fish curry wasn’t that great though - the fish...More

We are situated right on the beach. Imagine sitting on the beach with the sun setting, sipping your favourite cocktail and enjoying some of the best cuisine on the island - how romantic! We also offer a pizza take away service - forget the cooking - enjoy our pizza in your room/hotel or just sit on the beach with your feet in the water enjoying the food. We can cater for small private functions and weddings. Look forward to seeing you at the Vaima. We recommend that families book between 5.30 and 6.30 pm.
