This is a popular spot well worth a visit. The cake display cabinet is worth a look when entering and there is also a large selection of chocolates on display too.
Staff offer little tastings of chocolate or cake when you sit down at a table which is a nice touch.
Coffee is good, with 3 different blends on offer.
There is also a chocolate experience which offers two signature chocolates with a hot drink.
Everything is well presented from the food to the store itself.
Very friendly staff who attend to you even when they are busy- well done to all involved and making it a pleasant experience.

The iced mint chocolate at Red Cacao in Stirling was as we expected it to be - cold, chocolatey and adequately minty. We also enjoyed a pistachio macaroon - it was rich and tasted intensively of pistachios. The hot chocolate mocha wasn't quite to my taste, as I perceived a slight aftertaste which I didn't like. However, overall, we enjoyed our visit, and intend to return to keep sampling.

Good spot to stop and test their special roasted coffees, and the chocolates if you dare! Fantastic! As is their special with a mug of hot chocolate or coffee with 2 x recommended chocolates of the day.
But today was brunch so we started sorting out the waffle selections. The waffles were great, hot & delicious with pecans, bacon and ice cream drizzled with maple syrup. YUM .... except for the bacon for one of the group. Was it precooked & put aside? Cooked it was, but cold as, as if it had been left in the refrigerator for several hours. It did spoil what was otherwise a very yummy waffle. Pity, but the coffee was great and the service pretty good. My fave spot in Stirling.

Very nice and tucked away from the main road. Staff were very friendly and helpful with their knowledge (there are three types of coffee and a range of chocolates that suit each type). Good price as well. We will be back

Well if you like chocolate or anything associated with desserts you have to go to this place. Absolutely loved it. Would be some of the best caramel I've ever tasted at this place. Pricing was good for what you got especially when you're talking hand made chocolates. It is a bit of the beaten track but well worth if when you get there. We used google maps to get there which made it easy. Well worth a visit, you won't be disappointed, we weren't.

Hot, cold, with cream, with milk, with chili and many more enhancements. Good coffee too. Superior gateaux, pastries, slices and savoury snacks - all house made by chef/ chocolatier owner and his team. Smart attentive service, cozy in winter, cool in summer; seasonal food too. Superior chocolaterie with splendid range of handmade products, even the peanut brittle is great. Delicious Easter eggs and bilbies, a wombat or three and slab chocolates too. European trained and with a keen eye to creating a good coffee house culture in that tradition. You could be in Austria, Germany, France or .........

Visited the Red Cacao after the Lofty Mountain on a hot afternoon. There were four adults and two children aged 2yrs and 5yrs gasping for something cool and refreshing!
We ordered iced coffees for the adults and Rainbow Ice Creams from the children’s menu four the kids.
The drinks and ice creams were excellent and I would recommend them, however, the children were the last to receive their ice creams some five minutes after the first adult was served.
I would have given the Red Cacao a full five stars if they had served the children first as it is good practice not to make them watch and wait while the adults all have their order on the table.
I simply couldn’t start mine until theirs had arrived.
Despite everything, we all enjoyed the visit.

We visited Red Cacao in October 2020 and it was fantastic. Great coffee, exquisite pastries and coffees. This time we took Brisbane friends and were acutely disappointed. The enthusiastic service by the young staff was exemplary, but what they delivered was way down in quality. The coffee was poor (I suspect poorly roasted beans and/ or poor cleaning of equipment). We had an almond fudge, but found it powdery, dry and tasteless. So we ordered a chocolate brownie, which looked great, but was also powdery, dry and tasteless. Very disappointing.

The service and COVIDSafe measures were awesome. The lunch savoury menu could have done with a few more options but it is a dessert bar after all. The best iced coffee and choc milkshake ever. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommended

Yes the hot chocolate is very yummy and worth a visit just to grab a cup. Their chocolates are also very yummy with the whole range available in the shop. It also has a nice area at the front under cover which is nice to enjoy with heaters available if its cold. Staff are friendly and helpful and offer very good service.

Out of this world chocolates, coupled with great service makes this a must for coffee, cake or lunch. The chocolate range is amazing and tastes wonderful. Set in a small arcade in beautiful Stirling,it’s a great little spot to stop and treat yourself to something yum. I returned after a number of years to find Red Cacao has gone from strength to strength.

This café was so busy the day I visited I could barely get in the door to look at the chocolate. Unlike many of the Adelaide Hills chocolate offerings, this is hand made, quality individual chocolates and chocolate products, so if you want fine boxed chocolates or bars of handmade chocolate, this is the place. The staff were friendly, helpful and competent and the chocolates delicious. A definite must for a treat or a gift.

Freezing cold outside...warm and friendly in here! Had the most amazing hot chai dark chocolate in a mug. It was HOT ( not trendy lukewarm) and so delicious- first time I've tried it, and I loved it. YUM. And with a complimentary small piece of birthday cake on the side. Well staffed Cafe with busy, obviously well trained staff, lots of delicious treats to choose from. A must if you're passing through!

The service was excellent and the coffee was great. Free wifi was an added bonus. The chocolate coated almonds were a surprise little bonus to the coffee.
Nice outdoor area with cover er from rain and sun. Highly recommended.
