The venue is charming, plenty of parking, we had a lovely dinner to celebrate my partner's birthday. We will definitely go back. In spite of 4 issues, 3 that can be fixed quite easily -
1. Typically these days, the venue has no soft furnishings and therefore is very noisy. I doubt they will be inclined to change this. It isn't enough to put us off!
2. We left our cutlery on our empty entree plates (wontons & prawns, delicious), but the wait staff chose to put the used cutlery on the table when he cleaned up the plates. It would have been much better to bring us fresh cutlery, how hard can that be?
3. Our main course (tamarind duck) was delicious and beautifully presented. The bowls were gorgeous table ware, but the hot food was served in a COLD BOWL! A minor oversight, I'm sure.
4. When we settled up, I paid the bill, and saw that we had been charged $17 for a small bowl of rice. I didn't want to make a fuss in front of my partner, but again, this was obviously an oversight, and I will visit the venue this week to get a refund.
Items 2, 3 & 4 are easily fixed. Do visit this restaurant, the food really is outstanding.

Had a wonderful meal at Sala Thai in Stirling, SA. The staff were all very friendly and efficient and the food was delicious! We ate here before going to a musical at the Stirling Theatre on a Saturday night. Our daughter came late as she was involved in the musical and had a small window of time for dinner. The staff were very flexible with the late order. The food arrived very quickly so our daughter didn’t feel like she was eating alone (after we’d finished). I recommend this place to anyone who loves good Asian cuisine and likes to have a reasonably quick meal that tastes scrumptious!

Spot on. Food and service was fantastic. Portion sizes were large. A large selection on the menu and every meal was spot on.
The staff were more than friendly.
We highly recommend this to any Thai lover.

We wanted takeaway so we could eat in our hotel room. The food was ready quickly but I found it really disappointing. The curry puffs tasted like they had come out of the freezer, the chicken on the satay was not great and the satay sauce was very weak. The fried rice was tasteless. Friendly staff on pickup but I was surprised how poor it was given the reviews here. Maybe it's way better when you eat in.

When ordering Thai one expects a flavour of lemongrass, thai basil or at least coriander , our two orders had none of this. My chicken with cashew was swimming in sweet & sour sauce ( No other flavours),and utterly boring. My partner's meal the same ...
PLEASE please add some of those wonderful Thai herbs that make this cuisine so delightful.

Had takeaway. The vegetarian pad thai was gluggy & tastes strange.
The garlic pepper chicken was over crumbed & extremely dry.
Disappointing.
The spring rolls were great though!

Without fail Sala consistently serves amazing food. We've had tried pad thai at other places and they just dont compare. This is out go to place for takeway and is also great to dine in .

Staff were friendly, helpful and service was prompt.
Size of serve was above average and meal was served promptly was steaming hot and flavoursome.

Stumbled on this cute little Thai restaurant. Amazing crispy prawns. Authentic Pad Thai. Food was cooked with love for sure. Definitely worth a visit.

Delicious authentic Thai at a reasonable price and good sized meals. Shared 4 mains and rice with friends all meals very different and beautiful. Definitely be back and highly recommend 👌

Friendly staff, great selection of food and not too badly priced either. Will defiantly be back. Nice waitstaff gave our children two free ice blocks at the end.

Live in Mt Barker and didn't want to travel to the city. The food we ordered was great, basil chicken and a beautiful green curry, we will return.
