Great beers, food and setting. A nice selection of their own beers, the English style Bitter is a must! Great Rueben sandwich. Lovely seating options. Nice quirky place. Friendly English guy served us.
Eaten at Wild Rocket a number of times and never been disappointed. Variety, value and damn good cooking plus excellent brews to go with the meal. However, this review is primarily about the fresh wort beer kits. Just bottled the IPA and it is superb....A hearty "smack in the face" beer, flavour explosion in your mouth. If it's this good on bottling, can't wait for when the 1 month or so maturation is done. Congratulations on a job well done. Alfie's Pale Ale is next up. :)More
We visit here at least once a week and always take family and friends here for wonderful food, service and drinks.
great Beers on Tap ands the Ginger beer is really special. The menu is fresh and delicious. The tempura Vegetables are delicious and GF....Loads of GF foods to choose from. Try the Fish soup packed with a great variety of seafood and delicious broth. The Pakoras with an asian said are great. The steak is excellent. for desert try them all but my favourite is The GF Apple crumble... the service from the staff is friendly and great.More
It was the micro brewery element that drew me to stop and look at the menu while ambling by. I love a cold beer and a plowman's lunch / platter. Good choice. Tasty pale ale, and while the plowman's lunch initially didn't look very big,...it actually proved to be just the right amount. The truffle infused pate really hit the spot. Now on the short list of go-to places in Montville to take interstate and overseas visitors and relatives for lunch when they visit.More
I really didn't think being at a micro brewery that they would excel at the food but boy was I wrong!
Had the pork ramen and it was full of such amazing flavours - better than the ones I had in Japan.
My husband had...the ploughmans and loved their take on it. The pate was to die for. They said they make it in house and you can purchase some which we did of course.
Great ambience and really reasonable prices compared to other places in the area. We will definately return.More
