Expensive filter coffee and milk in a sachet that sprayed all over you when you attempted to open it , not impressed . I asked for fresh milk they said they didn't do it.

Thank you for your lovely 1* review of our beach bar and seafood restaurant. We see you didn't review our lovely wines. Nor our lobster platters. But found £2 for a bottomless cup of Columbian coffee shopped for, made for you, served in our china of which you drank sat on our paid for furniture too much for you to... More

Answer - buy them from Emma and John from The Beach Hut Bar'. We hosted a champagne and canope boat celebration party in Bembridge harbour on Good Friday. John delivered our 160 mixed canopies to our boat half an hour before our forty guests arrived. Spread over three boats, all were consumed! The compliments about their quality were still coming... We arrived at lunchtime and there were 14 of us. The weather was glorious. The staff were extremely helpful and rearranged tables and chairs for us. The food was incredible. This is such a fantastic venue and we always try to visit each year. The staff were lovely. Our visit was as always delightful. We were so lucky with the... More

Had a recommendation from a friend to visit The Beach Hut. We have had a holiday home on the island for 15 years and we didn't even know it even existed. The menu is mainly seafood all though they do a non fishy option for the children. I had a crab ciabatta that came with a side salad and crisps... More

What a find this place is! Set overlooking the sea in a peaceful location. There was a good range of choices all reasonably priced. Thankfully someone else in the party was game enough to spilt a platter with me. It was wonderfully fresh and excellent value - maybe a touch generous, but definitely worth it. I look forward to visiting... More

Had a fabulous couple of hours here. We've seen the café from the water so were keen to try it. Delicious crab sandwich and a very yummy chocolate brownie with strawberries and clotted cream and chocolate sauce. Fab, friendly service; efficient and relaxed, just what we like. The setting is absolutely beautiful with the most fascinating rock pools which kids... More

We kind of stumbled across The Beach Hut while looking for somewhere for a lazy lunch, we couldn't have been happier, delicious food and excellent wine. We had a baked camembert which was totally scrummy, king prawns with tomatoes which were so delicious I have been trying to recreate them at home and it washed down with a great rose.... More

ideal spot next to the lifeboat station one could eat in or outside in the garden overlooking the sea watching the boats lining up to go in and out of port. children and pet welcome . We didn't eat there although the food looked and smelt lovely. Clean but basic ,prices average .

Please remove your 3* review of our cafe. We are NOT next to the lifeboat station and you cannot see boats lining up to go into a port. You mean The Lifeboat View Cafe. Not The Beach Hut. More

Description
The Beach Hut Beachside Bar and Seafood kitchen is a seafood and wine kind of place. Quirky. Al fresco. Seasonal. On the beach. Reached down a few wooden stairs. A tiny hut serving fabulous seafood and wines from 12o/c. This is the spot for fresh seafood on a sunny day. A chilled rose. A relaxed setting. All seating is outside and it's only open on dry days. Do call to check first. This isn't a tea and cake spot, nor do we do afternoon teas. Its seafood platters all the way. Dog friendly. Licenced with wine and beer on offer. Card payments over £10. Casual dress (bring a fleece!). Blankets and sunscreen provided. CAMPING LOO! Baby changing facilities and baby food heating facilities provided. Kids welcome with a small kids menu and a few toys to play with. Food is cooked to order from a kisok, so expect a wait at peak times. Local IW crab and lobster (if the fishermen can get out and we haven't sold out). Most of our menu is Gluten free. We are not posh, our furniture doesn't match. But we are friendly and relaxed. Bring kids, dogs and a jumper! X
