We ate here as a family of 4 on a Sunday lunch,we did book as we knew it got busy. My daughter is a vegetarian so we ordered the nut roast when we paid for the carvery. We were told when my daughters food was ready and then the 4 of us went to help ourselves..we had 3 selections of... More

We visited this pub on a rainy cold evening and were warmly greeted by the bar staff. There was am extensive menu, including a specials board, and we opted for salmon and a monkfish curry, both beautifully presented, hot and absolutely delicious and if I'm honest, I wasn't expecting that calibre of food. The waitress was lovely and helpful. Thank... More

Absolutely lush food- including Gluten free options. Very friendly and welcoming service. Lucky we ended up here to eat as nowhere else in Cullompton was suitable or anywhere near as nice.

Since being taken over last year this pub has become more of an eating place. It has a large garden well kept which will be great for taking the grandchildren in the summer. The carvery has great meat choices ang the food is always piping hot . Very much the in place for food in cullompton at the moment

We stopped here for lunch on Boxing Day en route between Bristol and South Devon as an alternative to going to the motorway services. We were swung by the Tripadvisor reviews. It is hugely convenient for junction 28 on the M5, and (more than) ample parking. We were a little surprised at the exterior (it was in a rather run... More

We had to wait for a table as we didn't book, but that's expected on a Sunday. The carvery was great, and not just the food, everything looked clean and well kept, the staff were really helpful and good value too. We will be back, but we'll book next time!
