Called in on Sunday after a morning out at " knight Hayes Court" Tiverton, it said it was open for food all day so we thought we would call in and try it. We arrived about 2:30 and had a window seat, the place was busy and vibrant, we had two roasts and a pudding, it was well presented and... More

Nice easy to find pub with a good ambience and family run feel. The food was traditional pub grub at a fair price. Worth a visit.

Enjoyed 2 meals while working in the area! The local scrumpy is amazing as well. While stopping down the road John the owner even fetched us and brought us back to our B@B so fantastic service. The meals I had were top class and very reasonable priced. If you are ever in the area then I would advise you to... More

A lovely friendly country pub with a cosy atmosphere. We happened on it by chance while looking for a coffee and light meal lunch stop. We could not fault the service and the food was delicious. Two of our party had soup and warm roll ( a beautifully creamy and warmly seasoned leek and potato) while i went for the... More

A warm welcome and some good, hearty fare awaits the stranger who ventures just off on the route to the beaches at this very traditional pub. We veered of the long haul to the South West at Junction 28 of the M5 and found this splendid pub that was better placed for the role in those pre-motorway days when its... More

Excellent food and very friendly service. Cosy bar area with a nice atmosphere. I had the beef lasange and my wife had the hake - both delicious and good value. Will return if in the area again.

Lovely cosy country pub in a pretty setting. Very friendly and helpful owners and staff. Great food and drink at reasonable prices. My little boy loved his pizza and the takeaway vegetable lasagna was delicious. Can't recommend highly enough, will definitely be returning often.

If you find yourself passing 'The Merry Harriers' then pull on the handbrake & stop. This is a real pub. Finest beer, local, & excellent food, prepared & cooked on the premises. Highly Recommended. You will not be disappointed.

Description
Proprietors John & Lynn Bowen, Head Chef Rob Phillips & Second Chef's Liam Sampson & Roit Quessou and all the staff wish you a very warm welcome to the Merry Harriers. We have tried to create a warm, welcoming, traditional Pub atmosphere. We think a Pub should be a Pub - not a restaurant. We pride ourselves on providing well kept Cask Ales, a good selection of quality, moderately priced wines and good home-made Pub Grub. We source our ingredients locally whenever possible. It not only tastes great, it helps to support our local community and to reduce food miles. Thanks to our
