After a long day driving in Nebrodi mountains, we just spotted the Scrivano Hotel and took a room for the night. We had no idea there was a restaurant. Walked around the city center but all restaurants were closed, so we went back to the hotel and saw the place. Had no idea what to choose of the menu, and... More

We were directed to this hotel restaurant by a very friendly employee of the Ferrovia Circumetnea in Catania. Don't be discouraged by the quite unfriendly exterior, the food in the restaurant is great! Paired with the lovely service, we had one of the best lunches our journey at an affordable price. The mixed appetizer plates were served hot and cold... More

Accommodation is essential: You find very clean rooms, decorated with taste, comfortable beds, TV, bathroom with shower and all other necessities. But is its restaurant "Le... More

Excellent lunch with a great snow background. Delicious dessert with almond and great local wine. Definitely recommended.

The lady in the restaurant (one of the proprietors it transpired) was welcoming and so we perused the menu. 'Al a carte' wasn't badly priced and when we enquired about the availability of a tourist menu she offered us two dishes each from a shortlist that she rattled off for Euro15 per person. Our Italian is very basic but it... More

When we arrived at the hotel they showed us the restaurant right away. Unfortunately they don’t have anything for children. On the 2nd day they offered me to prepare French Fries for our child (we had already asked for it on the 1st day). We decided to eat somewhere else nearby where they had something to eat that suited everybody... More

The restaurant is adjacent to a small family-run hotel which bears the same name. It is recipient of a number of prestigious awards, evidenced by the many stickers affixed on the glass door, and that alone already says a lot. Although we were presented with an a la carte menu, we left the choice to the chef, but specifically asked... More

We had the antipasto, Pistaschio pasta and fried provolone with ratatouille and all was really good. The hotel restaurant was recommended by one of the locals as we got off in Randazzo from the Circumetnea train around Mt Etna. Perfect day!
