Simple and beautifully prepared meat and seafood dishes served in a nice outside area in this friendly restaurant. Good house wine and the food has a very light feel to it.

It is worth it to find this special little Osteria. The pasta is handmade, all the food is delicious.

Good food in Semproniano, but we didn't enjoy it as much as other diners had reported. Very picturesque nonetheless!

One imagines, that the World's end need to be a dramatic cliff, something akin to "Penn an Wlas" (Land's End) in Cornwall or Cape of Good Hope. Not necessarily. Near Semprioniano, in the province of Grosetto, you may find (if you are lucky) a hamlet...by the name of Rocchette di Fazio. And there, the only place you can enjoy Tuscan cuisine is Osteria Il Piccolo Borgo. The food is not the greatest but given the ambience I cannot rate it anything but Excellent.More

very rustic and warm...after a rainy wet morning of hiking and mud, the white tuscan bean soup and bruschetta were very welcome....everything we ate were made from ancient grains...and of course lots of regional wine and desserts. charming location.

Nice place and nice owner with excellent chef. The appetizers have the original tuscany taste and the mains plates are the max expression of Maremma land. Fabolous cakes and good wine . Very good price. Feeling perfect also for romantic people and incredible location .

We were eating in this restaurant for nearly a week. First evening we were delighted with their delicious gnocci, very decent house wine...everything was perfect, so we decided to return next evening. And that one was a disaster. Obviously, there was some dispute among the...staff. They were angry at each other and the service was very bad that evening. Firstly, we received different pasta than ordered, then we were given wrong side-dish to a meat and when we asked for a receipt, no one returned. After half an hour I went inside (with some other annoyed guests) and we payed at the cashier. The guy was well aware that things were very wrong, he apologized and deducted the coffees of the bill as an apology. After that we tried couple of other places in nearby Semproniano, then we decided to try Il Piccolo Borgo once more. And? We kept on returning every other evening till our departure. The owner was always very friendly (one evening we were the only guests, yet they all stayed with us as long as we wanted), food just excellect. So - I believe that one evening was really something unusuall as all other ones were the best ones we enjoyed in Tuscany. I hope I will have a chance to return...More

Every trip to Semproniano, I visit this little restaurant I am so happy to be back. I think they make the best Tuscan white beans I have ever eaten. The Chingale Sauce is incredible. Also the Tortelli with butter sage sauce is handmade and perfect....Do not miss this special little place !More

Wonderful lunch here. Salad, risotto, bruschetta, you name it, it is great. It's in the tiny town of Rochette di Fazio. I understand it is not open every day, so check the days/hours before you come. Make sure to walk around and check out the...views in the town before you leave.More

This tiny trattoria, had the best Fagoli, beans possibly I will ever eat. Also the hand made pasta was perfect. This little place is off the beaten track but well worth the short drive from Semproniano, nearby. The cheerfulnes of the family that keeps this...place going year after year makes it the reason why we eat our first meal here, after the long trip across the Atlantic ocean...And we remember why we came, again.More
