Just got here by the chance, and it was a great choice! Staff is super friendly and helpful, they suggested the “posta grelhada “(grilled beef) and the grilled octopus with Broa. Everything was delicious!! Totally recommend it! Obrigada!

Lots of locals eating there. The meat quality is outstanding, great wine selection, also by the glass.

Stopped here during a Douro River tour. Good service, good food (large selection), attractive setting, and good price.

We visited this restaurant after several recommendations and it was excellent. We had octopus in the oven and it was simply the best we have ever had. Desserts were also very good so we just conclude that everything here must be excellent. We definitely recommend...this and will definitely return. Just be aware that you will pay this quality, even though we believe it’s good value for money.More

This small place, hidden within Peso da Régua is an excellent spot for tasting regional portuguese food. I’ve tried the octopus and it was amazing! Don’t miss the codfish croquettes (pastel de bacalhau)! I would definitely recommend it!

The most pleasant service you can find in the region. Amazing food from start to finish. The most fine winery followed by the best professional advise. I would highly recommend it to anyone who look to find authentic local delishes with the right service and...simpathy.More

We came to the Douro region for my girlfriend’s birthday. I had been before to Peso da Regua and had a fine dining experience, this time I was looking for a more Portuguese type of food. Cacho D’Oiro was just perfect, we both had Octupus(polvo...no forno com broa), incredible. The waiter who was very friendly and, whom you could see had pleasure in seeing clients happy, suggested is a great wine as well. To finish of, they had a wide selection of deserts. Price was very very good. Next day we came back, and they were once again super consistent. Being Portuguese, I truly recommend, people from outside to visit and try the best out country has to provide.More

We had a really nice lunch here after a morning of wine tasting. The food is classic/traditional Portuguese served in a modern setting. The wine list is very good. The service was excellent. The food was very good all around.

Very well cooked traditional portuguese food and deserts with a wide wine choice. Private parking. Fair price.

Well located in the centre of Regua, not far from the river side. It has very nice traditional Portuguese food and a very nice options also for wine and deserts!
