We visit Borth quite often as a family and have never noticed this place before (oh the crime!) We popped in, before we were due to drive home, to get an ice cream. I wasn't too keen on the idea as I was a bit upset I wouldn't be able to enjoy one, until I entered! I asked about the... More

Stopped for a coffee and ice cream and couldn't resist the cake either. So yummy, obviously home made with love. We just wished we had not eaten our lunch that day and had room for some of savoury dood, too.Great coffee, too and very friendly service. Local folk bands music playing, adding to the atmosphere. We even ended up buying... More

Lovely quirky cafe with great coffee, food and ice cream. Very welcoming and just delicious food. If you are in the area there are some very boring typical seaside cafes, so try this one instead:-)

Hot sunny day, Strolling along. Not a care in the world. Fancied an Ice cream. Lucky me. Found I was standing outside Uncle Albert's. What Next? "I'll have a Squished Beetle cornet, please" As you do. Tastiest concentration of fruit flavour ever. Think it was black-current.Blackberry, maybe. It was mid Summer 2016 and my brain's getting old. Forgive me. Who... More

Walked past this place many times not thinking about what's on offer. Popped in today with the good lady and boy, so glad we did. Gabrielle was very welcoming and helpful, and the Vegan options were great. After our meal we managed to squeeze in desert. I had a Raw Raspberry tart thingy with a date and almond base that... Called in to Uncle Alberts for ice cream and I was not disappointed! I had Squirrel ice cream? Actually creme brûlée also a beautiful vanilla and fig & honey that was simply sublime! Well worth a visit.
