We have been here often and always enjoy each visit. The food is good and the atmosphere relaxing. The books around the walls are always interesting as is the art work. I see the Chatterbox is up for sale. I hope whoever buys it can keep the place just as it is. Good food, good coffee.

Perfect spot for coffee and conversation, like a little internet cafe. Food is simple but surprises on occasion. Regular hours in summer, and only Friday mornings the rest of the year.

Cute decor--it is a bookstore and coffee shop. Limited menu--sandwiches, eggs on a bagel. We went for breakfast and there was very little choice. No bacon and eggs. They do not have a grill. Nice spot for a cup of coffee and a light snack.

Visiting my cousins at their cottage in Pugwash, we took our annual stroll through the antique stores, exchanged our US Into Canadian and a walk to the Chatterbox Cafe for a little sweetness. Don't know why but the ginger cookie jumps right out to me, so I ate it , it was fantastic. Although my wife wasn't happy cause I... More

We were in the Pugwash area for an event and went driving to find someplace to eat and found the Chatterbox Cafe. The menu is somewhat limited but should appeal to most people. My husband tried the Chicken Salsa sandwich and I had the veggie nachos. Both were good! Everyone was very friendly and the band was getting ready to... More

Originally I loved the place. Very needed in the small beautiful village of Pugwash. Ordered a sea foam latte, very good. The BUT is we went back a few days later as we were heading out on a drive. Ordered two large Sea foam latte's. They said they couldn't make a large. Ummmm ok, can I have a large Americano.... More

We had the lobster panini, atlantic panini (smoked salmon and cream cheese), french toast with fresh fruit, and seafood chowder. It is served cafe style -- order and pay up front, then take a seat and your meal is served. The food was excellent. Best seafood chowder we have had on this trip so far -- mixed with some vegies... Had a delicious lunch on a beautiful summer day, and the servers worked hard and willingly to accommodate our sons' dietary needs!

This little spot is a real find if you are wandering along the Sunrise Trail and need a snack. This cafe has a small but delicious menu and really good coffee. There is also free wifi for those that need it. As an added bonus it is in a used book store and attached to a very nice artisan gift... More
