After our visit to the Nikka Whisky distillery, we had early lunch so the place wasn't not crowded. Ordered Kani (Crabs) in a clear broth and it just tasted heavenly.

Best choice of lunch after visiting Nikka Distillery. Very friendly staff ( all are sweet grandmas :) ) even though they cant really speak english. Food is great and relatively cheaper comparing to Otaru. Definitely try their grilled fish set ! Had grilled flounder and its charcoal grilled and tasted so nice. skin and bone are peeled off easily. Sashimi... More

Its unusual to visit a small little town and wham, the food just gets stuck in your head throughout the trio and even after you return from your trip. This little local eatery encapsulates not just the essence of seafood for the customer, it is also full of local flavor as you see the locals enjoying their meal in this... More

We came here after a visit to the Nikka whisky distillery as all that walking makes one hungry. Read about this place from the reviews and may I say they were spot on. Only problem is that there is no English signage but just remember it is above the supermarket. This restaurant is run by a group of old ladies... More

This place is always full of locals the two times we were here. When you see lots of locals, then you know you are at the right place. This was recommended by the Manager of our inn. Set meals are big portion and love the grilled fish. Shared one set with my daughter. Downstairs and surrounding are interesting stores selling... More

Couldn't resist for coming back again and again to this restaurant for my every Hokkaido trip, even though purposely make a trip to Yoiich for their food before tasting the whisky at Nikka. Reason being: Cheap,Fresh and Nice! It is hardly to get from elsewhere in Hokkaido, I guessed. Beside sea urchin bowl, that one was really expensive but when... More

Pricing is great. Food good. Unexpected for a small town. And around corner of the Nikka Distillery. Cool market downstairs also.

We stopped for lunch and had sea urchin on rice , crab and beer. Quick service, great food. You must pay cash and don't expect fancy setting. No menu just point. Highly recommended.
