Lovely olde worlde feel in this pub. Great service too. Had a great roast dinner in a big group of friends. Roast beef was good enough, roast potatoes a bit hard and dry, but top marks though for tomato soup of the day (which might...More

This was a lovely pub to stop and have a roast in. On a summers day there is a lovely garden to sit in with a gorgeous view and a park over the fence for the kids to pay in. Inside the historic building are...More

We only stopped in as we were driving past, as the building looked so inviting! An old coach house, this gorgeous old world pub also has rooms available to stay. We only stayed for one drink, but within that time, the staff we just fantastic!...More

Thought we booked the George but got the Plaine. The Plaine is across a busy street. We found it difficult to cross. The food at the Inn was good and the staff was gracious.

Loads of ambiance and atmosphere. Limited menu but nicely cooked and presented. Good wine list. 1st night had to order at the bar and carry wine and glasses to our table. Next night, change of staff and received full table service. Very odd. Limited parking...More
