Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

I tried the beef and pork ones. Its not bad but not really fantastic either. However, on a cold day, its good for a quick snack while walking down that road.

Saw a queue and decided to try. The size was rather small and just a few bits of beef in it. Overall not worth to try.

The Croquettes is located on the way from B Speak Shop to Kin Rin Late.
The cost per piece of Croquettes is Yen170. You should not miss this snack shop
if you travel to Yufuin.

We went to Kinsho Croquettes to try their beef croquette before the queues got longer. For JPY 160, it is average in size and is not bad. It is something different. Great for cold day.

I think my hubby and I have had better ones. Not saying it is bad but it’s just normal, nothing out of the world. But it’s still a nice snack to have if you come across the stall. Have a croquette with a beer! 🍻

Very delicious snack not to be missed! Very flavourful and nice. Wish we didn't have proper meal before going there, can try a few more varieties ;)

We had cheese croquette and kani (if memory serves me right). They were pretty nice and not oily but not extraordinary either. Maybe the beef choice will taste better but then again, we don't eat beef.

Had the Tako and cheese croquet and they were delicious. Worth the trip to taste. A short walk from the train/bus terminals and served hot with a smile.

I was cruising around and end up at this place, what really caught my attention was a sign saying that this place have won an award with their croquettes so I gave it a try extremely affordable. I bought two and it was really good I was gonna go back to get some more but I was too far already. It is worth trying.

Lovely croquettes! We liked what we ordered. The Gold award - beef, potato and onion as well as the meat croquettes! Piping hot and there is always a perpetual queue at the kiosk. There is some sitting outdoors next to the kiosk.

We bought the croquets when they were popping hot. We bought 4 different flavours to try and definitely suggest for you to eat with little bite and caution as they were so fresh and hot!
The batter and croquettes coating was light and delicious. Crab and cream was lighter flavour, yet and obviously beef curry is very strong tasting!

Wife had read some reviews about Kinsho Croquettes and told me that we had to visit.
We had a variety of croquettes and I've gotta say, they're really good. If you're in Yufuin you should definitely leave space in your stomach to have a couple of these yummies.
Sometimes there will be a short line, but don't worry, it's worth it.

Tasty and not so oily. Eat when it is hot. Ask for the signature and cheese. Both are delicious. Cheap and good.

A must try when you come to yufuin. The snack is well cooked and not oily. Reasonably priced. Best have it during cold weather. We been there twice in the same day because it is THAT GOOD. Just beware of the warm fillings. Enjoy! :)
