What drew us was the promise of gelato and other desserts advertised outside on the chalkboard. Looking in we saw no less than five empty tables...you would think that we would have been seated, right? There was one couple ahead of us. Going in to inquire about the gelato flavors offered I was greeted by a condescending young waitress. She informed... More

The restaurant has great views both from the terrace and the inside, looking out to see. I had a mushroom pizza, which was pretty tasty and helpful as it can be really difficult to find vegetarian food in Japan! It cost about 1600 yen which was reasonable considering the location! If you're on Enoshima island and want a decent lunch/dinner,... More

If you love a good caprese salad, this is your place! They have the best burrata (Italian mozzarella stuffed with a softer cheese) that I have ever tasted. It was so rich and fresh. My friend ordered the Margarita pizza, which was equally tasty. It's a little bit pricey, but well worth it.

So this place is a perfect lunchtime spot at the top of Enoshima island, after walking up (or taking the escalators if necessary, which with 4s kid under 7 we did this time), it is up at the back of the island past the two shrines on the way up. The food is largely Japanese versions of Italian - heavy... More

My wife and I loved this cafe tucked away on top of the bluffs on Enoshima. This cafe first takes your breath away with an amazing view of Ocean and Fugisan(Fugi mountain), on a clear day, then vanquishes your hunger with delectable and a somewhat different kind menue. My wife and I shared the Italian pancake dish and the fried... More

If you want a break from all the fish on Enoshima, this is a good place to go. We shared a margherita pizza, four-cheese gnocchi, and vegetable soup. All three were tasty and satisfying. The gnocchi was interesting, as it was sautéed or lightly fried before being plated with the cheese sauce, so it had a different texture than is... More

Don't go here as they will cheat you. They sell Large Beer 480ml and Small beer 350ml, but the "Large" beer comes in a Small Beer glass (350ml), but they add a huge "head" of foam and say that is therefore 480ml. It was like 15 dollars for 2 small beers. In America and Europe this is illegal and you... More

We went on a Monday, overcast and rainy...no crowds. Probably this place is packed in the summer, but we enjoyed a quiet late lunch on the outdoor balcony overlooking the ocean. Our meal: fresh vegetables with hot anchovy-based dip sauce, seafood salad with special dressing, soft-shell crab sandwich with soup, pickles (Italian style--yummy), followed by Japanese tea-flavored chiffon cake served...
