Great selection of food and beverages with a side of friendly staff. My wife and I ate 2 meals at the Stray Dog Catina while in the Ski Valley. We stopped by for drinks and some guacamole and chips. We also tried the famous New...More

The day we hiked on the Williams Lake Trail in Taos Ski Valley, the wind was gusting at about 25 miles an hour. We wouldn't have traded getting out in fall's aspen glory, but the constant wind does take it out of you. So we...More

Beer, burgers and New Mexico chile hard to beat. I visited recently with some reluctance, remembering Tim's as a noisy spot, but perhaps because of the season, it was just the spot with rustic tables and efficient service and a way to get out of...More

Good burger and beer and local band and almost everyone knew each other like an old fashioned pub. But it was cool that night and they'd not let my dogs in (too cold to sit on the deck), which was ironic.

The Stray Dog was just below our condo and the smells coming from their kitchen were heavenly. We decided to give it a try on our last day of vacation and wished we would have gone in sooner! The food and service is top notch!...More

For a couple of decades I have been going to the Stray Dog Cantina. It was Tim's and he passed away but the same great bar cantina vibe is there. Our traditional drink is the "Ski Lift" with hot chocolate and peppermint schnapps. When you...More

Great location relative to the ski area. Solid food with some great vegetarian options. Wish the beer list was a little more extensive.

Had the beef taco plate and husband had nachos. Portion size was plenty. Service was ok. Quick and efficient. Very convenient while staying in the Taos Ski Valley. I didn't like the utensils being stuck in a cardboard beer carton just left on the table....More

I am not sure. However we did not see any dogs in the restaurant when we went for dinner. It was also fairly crowded and we were up stairs, all of which might be challenging for many dogs. I too would call to check.
