Why has it taken me so long to discover the best restaurant in the town where I am going to live in future? This restaurant has almost everything I could wish for: it has excellent cuisine, a very varied and unusual menu, splendid wines, very good service, a delightful atmosphere with some unusual and interesting features and is located in... A simply tipical italian restaurant, with good service and nice food. We got in between singing choirs and other italians, which was a cool experience. The food we chose based on what our host at the b&B recommended, but might not have been the best. Buffalo steak is nice, but not per definition high-quality. I think this place deserves a... More

We were taken here by our friends who live in the area. Well of the beaten track however we were assured of a feast..... Which we most definitely had!! Pasta and cold starters were excellent, choice of meat was excellent and varied. Once it arrived it was devoured in minutes as everyone was so hungry. Would highly recommend making the... More

Went twice on my recent stay in Forte Dei Marmi. Speciality is various grilled and rotisserie meats cooked over an open fire. Had the Fiorentina steak and the lamb which was cooked perfectly. The starters were various pastas which were very nice but the main event is definitely the meats. Don't miss the lightly fried vegetable omelettes, absolutely delicious. We... More

This is a local favourite just outside Pietrasanta. We ate there twice during our recent stay in Italy. The first time was on 28 December when we had a fantastic "Fiorentina" t-bone steak, cooked perfectly (rare) and accompanied with an excellent and reasonably priced bottle of red wine. Each day they recommend specific wines by the bottle and the glass.... More

this is the hidden treasure that has to be visited!! shame to share this with othersbut for true italian food lovers a serious must. full of locals , wood fire to cook the meats, just sublime wines and would put the so called 'top end restaurants' to the sword. a must go place!

Just one of the best experiences we have had in Italy over many years. Great friendly service and truly one of best Italian meals we have had in many years. For what we recieved it was also great value with an outstanding affordable wine list.

We went the first time on the recommendation by the gueshouse we were staying in and we ended up eating there twice! The total experience is superb with a nice outside garden and traditional Tuscan food! The meat was really good! Will definitely return back should I be in the area!

The waiting staff move with that effortless efficiency that only years of experience can bring, the wine waiter (or cellar master) has a feel about him that makes you thing each wine is his friend. We've eaten here before and will eat again - we were not brave, we had the selection of antipasti from the menu as this is... More
