I have to say I've visited this pub on car and motorcycle trips to Cumberland over the years. Have always enjoyed this historical little gem. Went there recently and was very disappointed that they've JACKED all the menu items up. Every lunch item was about $16!!!!! Of course I could have spent less on a crappy salad or a bowl... More

I've been to this place several times over the last few weeks and I've never had a bad meal. The burgers are good. The best poutine I've ever had. Salads beef dip and tostadas all really good. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Fabulous pub food, make sure you try the burgers, mac and cheese with bacon and great salads. Huge portions, very fresh and at a good price. Excellent service. One of the best places to eat in the Comox Valley!!

When you're craving hearty and delicious food, it's a good choice. Had the chicken fingers (excellent seasoning) with the double bumper ?? Poutine.

Recently read a review of this place in Beautiful B>C> magazine..it was rated #1 in B.C. outside of the lower mainland. The food was fresh , tasty and the service good. We sat outside in the sidewalk seating and enjoyed the atmosphere of this little jewel of a town. The chicken tacos were a very generous portion , a side salad... More

Went here with my siblings - I had a 'naked' steak sandwich, rare, extra salad instead of fries - which came as exactly that - rare steak and salad, exactly what I wanted and no further explanation needed. My siblings had a variety of more 'pub grub' food - all of which was served with a smile and pronounced good.

Ate at the pub on a few occasions and the food and service was very good. We had an assortment of food. Steak nachos and poutine and the beer is very good here with a wonderful selection.

We visited the Waverly last night with friends and family after a long flight and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Two of us had the Gyros special and the rest had the steak sandwich. The food was made from scratch and it was very tasty. I would recommend it, if you like pub grub type food.

Had a delicious burger, fries and drink here at this fairly busy place. Staff was good too! Would go back again.
