We thoroughly enjoyed our Sunday lunch - roast sirloin of beef and halibut followed by pudding or an interesting selection of cheeses. The halibut was excellent, the beef tasty but on the tough side (surprising for sirloin) and puddings also excellent.

Description
The Bushel & Strike is a beautiful country pub located directly opposite the impressive Ashwell church. We pride ourselves on being a haven for those seeking great food, well kept cask ales, a good wine list and an old fashioned warm welcome. Children, dogs and wellies/walking boots are welcome!
