Visited restaurant on a Monday night and it was surprisingly busy. Great service and food at a decent price. We visited again on the following Friday and it was again great. A super choice of food (too much!)

''Twas my second visit to this pub to eat and yet again I had good food and service. It's a pub of character, quirky front door with handles on both sides - push the left side to get in! Dark and olde worlde inside but...More

I have only eaten in here once although we have called in for a coffee mid-morning. The meals are good but I found the Eliot Arms very expensive for a village pub. The dining room is very small although there are tables outside, these are...More

We received a warm welcome particularly fro our food waitress. Steak and kidney pie was a huge portion and was accompanied by fresh well cooked vegetables,. All topped off with Eliot Arms ale.

I make few excuses for the fact that my review of our visit to the Eliot Arms for dinner begins with many of the same observations as does that for our similar trip to the nearby Clovelly Arms a couple of nights later. I understand...More

Very old and historical pub, near Launceston. Visited on a Sunday evening with friends; extremely busy! Food was really good quality and cooked extremely well and the size of the portions was immense! Spicy Nachos followed by medium-rare steak was exceptional. Service was painfully slow,...More

It certainly has and is well worth a visit, my favourite is the ships clock that strikes the watches, makes you think that time really is flying, the chimes are really are pure and simple.
