Attended for a 60th birthday celebration with family. The aircon could not cope with the hot weather, water was not available to the table although the restaurant was not at all busy. Beef cheeks were tough, overall disappointing, I will not be returning

Last night we had the 3 Courses fir $65. OMG the food was fantastic. The attentive waitresses all night was 10/10. Highly recommend this awesome Restaurant. Thank you for a wonderful evening. It ticks all the boxes.✅✅✅✅✅✅

We went with friends, all for the first time. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of all the meals delivered. No one had a dud, everyone was extremely happy with their choices. The $65 special for 3 courses was excellent value. Highly recommended.

Driven past the restaurant a number of times and wondered....and pleasantly surprised. Although I had not considered the restaurant as a location to celebrate a birthday milestone my interest was piqued with the "beef cheeks" on the menu, an option that is always of interest....The cheeks were excellent, flavoursome and tender, accompanied by a potato puree of a similarly high standard and broccolini. Paired with the Howard Park CS and I was in a heavenly place. My wife and daughter both enjoyed their gnocchi and linguine dishes, so it was thumbs up all around. The decor is dated which surprised me, the service acceptable rather than classed as attentive. A stronger focus in this area would add value as part of the overall experience. In terms of value, I consider it very good. Over the last month we have dined out on 3-4 occasions and been very disappointed. Limones surpassed our expectations, and we will certainly return to enjoy another meal during the warmer months, taking full advantage of the outdoor garden area.More

Just happened upon this restaurant driving past. Looking for an up market quiet spot for a celebration lunch. What a find. Music was pleasant but unobtrusive and food and service was exceptional.

A group of us went for an evening meal on a peaceful Sunday in the restaurant . Everything was just fantastic . Staff were attentive and pleasant . The food was all really tasty and excellent quality . Some of us had fish based meals...and others steak . We had the $60 special deal for three courses which proved to be great value . The desserts were also tasty and generous ….all excellent but the Tiramisu stood out just a tad more . It was a real joy to eat such good quality food and now we have discovered it we will be back . For a warmer evening they have a nice courtyard were you can eat al fresco . Thank you for such good service and outstanding food..More

We had a lovely leisurely lunch in the courtyard at Limones on Sunday. We chose from the list of starters and shared the scallops, lamb ribs and a pizzette. The service was impeccable, the courtyard is looking great and the food was sublime. The wine...list is carefully curated and our bottle of Reisling was the perfect match for our meal.More

Had lunch here today with the extended family. 3 courses each and every dish was delicious. Great service and couldnt fault the food, was perfect! Lamb ribs and carpaccio are to die for! I had the chicken saltimbocca for main it was sensational, and an...affogato to finish off. Great courtyard and bar area out the front, relaxed atmosphere, friendly service and most importantly... perfect food!More

Girlfriend and myself braved the Winter cold and dined here last Saturday night and although it was cold outside it was warm and inviting even in the outside courtyard bar where we had a pre dinner starter. Service was great and we even had the...BIG pepper shaker do our meal a service. Fish of the day was magnificent and Pork belly was delicious but could have done with a bigger serve for the price. All in all it was a good night out even at $70 a head but we did enjoy some nice drinks from the limited red wine list and enjoyed a fine meal.More

It’s always a sign that something is not quite right when a restaurant is almost empty on a Friday night. We were catching up with friends and thought we’d give Limones a try. I’d looked at the menu online and whilst quite limited, there were...a few dishes that took our fancy, however the wine list was pretty poor and as we had 2 drivers, I decided to be responsible and take along a bottle of zero alcohol wine. Imagine our surprise when we were told we couldn’t drink it, even although they had no non-alcoholic wines on offer. So not a good start.... We were shown our table and asked if we’d like some water which took ages to arrive. When ordering our meal we asked if they served garlic bread (as it wasn’t on the menu) and were told that they only served bread with the main course?? We asked if the bread could be brought out first, which request seemed to confuse our waitress, however she went away, came back and said “yes”. Each couple shared a pork pate which was tasty but more like a rillette, and the bread we asked for had been forgotten. Mains came, which were very nice but to be honest, the place was really let down by the staff who were not busy and not attentive. Little things like, not keeping an eye on our water, not opening or pouring the overpriced wine, expecting us to use the same cutlery for entree and mains, not thinking to bring a spoon when serving my pasta dish. The best part of the evening was the company. We enjoyed catching up with our friends and arranged to meet up again in a fortnight - but not at Limones. Once was enough!!More

We go to Limones for a very low key evening great music and beautiful friendly service The food is always of unbelievable quality. I had the Dru fish tonight with mash. It was superb..We had the scollops first. They were tasty, Laurie had the Chicken...with the vegetables. It was so tender. Thankyou Shannonxx🙏🏻🍾🥂👍More
